Ordered meat buns, was told they'd take 30 mins, as I was aware of. They came out in less than 15 and looked like dumplings. Tasted like dumplings. (Whatever they were, they were not meat buns) And not good dumplings. Tasted like they were in a freezer too long. Didn't eat more than the one I tried. The main dish was not good at all either. Neither of us finished even half our food or took it home. No flavor, none, not to mention under and over cooked like it was made long before we got there and kept in a warmer. When asked for the "meat buns" to be taken away, I was offered the "original" meat buns instead. At that point, we were already "done" with our meal, and I did not want to wait another 30 mins. The service was good. It's not the servers' fault at all. The managers stood at the back, looking at us, arguing and raising their voice every time the server talked to them about us. Petty uncomfortable. Will stick to and highly recommend Baan Thai. Same options, far superior. The food quality of this restaurant has gone so far downhill recently. When talking about my experience, other locals agree. A waste of $45 to leave hungry. Skip it. Go to Baan Thai.

We went to this restaurant during lunch. My husband and I ordered from their lunch menu (Tofu w/ Mixed Veggies; egg drop soup; egg rolls for me & General Tsao's; Hot & Sour soup; Crab Rangoon). I also ordered their Fishball appetizer. I liked my meal just I wish the egg drop soup is more tastier. My husband like his meal but he said he has tasted better General Tsao's from other restaurants that we have visited. I especially enjoyed the Fishballs. It's the first time I have seen a filled Fishballs 😁☺️. None of the sauces I tried though worked well with it. I brought home some and used Sriracha mayo for dipping sauce and it definitely partnered well with the Fishballs 😋. There weren't too many people when we got there (we went when they just opened!) So it's quiet. The guy who took our orders was very attentive and accommodating. Will definitely go back if we are in town. I need to try some of their other dishes!!!!

They actually have an authentic or traditional section to their menu. I had to try two of them, the Chongqing chicken and the spicy boiled fish. Both are very tasty!! The chicken was very tasty and seasoned well, and crispy! Now it wasn't totally traditional, because the bones were removed. I was told because too many people didn't like dealing with the bones 🙃 😆 😂 🤣 The fish is very good and honestly not too spicy, just a little kick. Most people I think could handle the heat of these two dishes. Unless you can't tolerate and heat. The hot & sour soup was good as well. There didn't seem to be much of the slight sour taste, but still good. Definitely worth trying and good sized portions.

I don't know why this place still has the rating that it does. I moved here from my home town a couple months ago and it had a Chinese place that I grew up with. I was starting to get homesick so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered some kind of soup that had a bunch of vegetables that tasted like they haven't been washed so the whole soup tasted like dirt. The crab Rangoons tasted rancid and the rest of the food was bland. I asked if I could order something else and have the soup taken off of our check and our waiter tried to put up a fight about it, but did it anyway, keep in mind he never offered. We we're rushed while looking at the menu as well as eating, even though there were only two other people in the whole restaurant. I ordered the mangolian beef as my substitute and it was better than the dishes we had previous, but when I got home I became ill. And to top it all off, when we were checking out we were presented the check. We wrote the usual down but scribbled in the blank spot by the tip, indicating that we weren't giving one. We handed the receipt back, and he pointed to the tip and said "you forgot something" and of course we were confused. He then said again "you forgot to tip". My partner goes on to tell him multiple times that we weren't leaving a tip. I read other reviews about how they were chased out of the restaurant, but that didn't happen to us only because we got boba after. I HIGHLY do not recommend this place, there's way better...

Cancelled, Rude, Incomplete & Overcharged! We usually enjoy Tasty China House but our most recent experience wasn’t the expected service. Ordered & paid online through Beyond, received a call that they wouldn't be delivering because they don’t honor beyond orders anymore since beyond owes them money. They suggested we (the customers) cancel that order and order directly through them instead. When I called to order they guy was rushy, snooty there was no tip on the card (i paid cash for that, which I dont have to tell him upfront, thats for the delivery guy) and hung up on me. No apology for making us go around in circles to order our food, no making it right at all just rude and hung up. When the food arrived they didnt include the free app we ordered for spending over $15 and refused when I called, saying they show no record of it. I was told that next time I should come to them for my food!? They offered them the next time we ordered but with all the people that order and that fact that they NEVER took any info for it I doubt theyd remember for next time, especially since they will “have no record” of it. Checked my card balance this morning and they also overcharged my card by 18¢. It just seems like so many small mistakes were made that it just was not an enjoyable experience of home delivery at all. Overall a dissapointing experience. 😞 I won’t be feeling the urge to order from TCH anytime soon...
