I saw a matinee performance of "As you like it". A comedy of Shakespeare's. Very inventive and different from what you might imagine. Minimal set and costumes, but only added to the humor. The script also appeared on the screen behind. This too added to the enjoyment and experience.

I've taken clay classes, learning to use the potters wheel and I am a member of the watercolor group that meets on Wednesday morning. Photos are from a recent workshop. I enjoy the atmosphere of creative energy.

I really enjoyed the Rick Farris & Friends show. The music was excellent and as they relaxed into their performance during the 2nd half, you could tell they were having fun entertaining us. The two song encore was extra special and the 16 year old young man was a treat to hear throughout the show. It was a little chilly in the theater and I don't get cold easily, so if you tend to get cold, you might want to dress warm when going to shows there. Having the art gallery open before the show was nice. I just wish it had been open during intermission and after the show. Lots of neat Christmas gifts one could buy there. I guess I have a reason to go back and shop. ...

Every time I visit the Manhattan Arts Center I find something new to enjoy. The art gallery has different showings on a regular basis. So many great works that you can purchase for your home or place of business. I’ve seen theatrical performances that make me laugh or bring tears as I feel the emotions conveyed. Manhattan and surrounding areas are lucky to have this facility and the dedication of both the staff and volunteers. Visitors to the community will not regret a quick stop to view the gallery or a relaxing evening enjoying a show. Community members young and old can also gain new artistic skills taught by...

I LOVE THE MAC!! It is my favorite place everrrr and it makes so happy and the community is so amazing and positive! I consider it a 2nd home because I love it so much! Ive done more than 15 shows there and I’ve loved every second of it. I met some of my best friends at the MAC like Heidi Wolf Berhow and I love theater. I have so many positive memories there and it’s always the highlight of my day when I get to go to rehearsal or the MAC. They always put on amazing shows and I’m so proud of everyone at the MAC. I love the MAC’s message of Arts for all and it’s so positive...
