When I first found out, I thought it was gonna be a more bright and colorful, cutesy place. Like many other mochi spots. But it wasn't, more modern viet Caffรจ style. Which I found out later were owned by Vietnamese. They wanted the atmosphere to be like when they were in Vietnam. So, it made sense. It's still nice, don't get me wrong. It's modern and gives a chill vibes atmosphere. Can go hang out alone, read a book, or work. Can, go with group of friends. They have tables for 2 and tables for groups of 4 to 5. Sweet workers. They are still figuring things out and getting into routine. After all, I did go right when they first opened for their grand opening. ๐
Let's talk about their menus and their food and drinks.
Donuts: I love their mango and taro mochi. Top favorites must try, absolutely. Strawberry came 3rd. As for chocolates, sorry, no help there, as I am allergic. I never was a big fan of Matcha, so my feelings for them remain. Except for when I get the matcha flavor drink from a different spot. Anyways. Donuts are soft chewy in a good way and not so sweet. Just how I like it. Other donut spots are just too sweet for my liking.
Drinks: I got their lychee juice tea. And it was refreshing and good. 10/10 another must. If you love strong coffee and Vietnamese coffee at that. Then their Vietnamese ice coffee is the one for you. I personally am not a fan of strong coffee. So ask for extra condensed milk. If you're like me.
Update: Tried their mango juice tea, greenapple, and orange. I like the orange one alot too. The green apple and mango, were okay. Next time I would ask for more juice than tea. Because the tea really over powered the actual juice flavor.
Food/snacks: I was happy to see they had a snack and hoagie option, then just drinks and donuts. My cousin and I ordered the combination banh mi (Vietnamese hoagie). You can request to have the veggies (pickled and non pickled) on the side or in your hoagie. Their spread is good. The pickled veggies are good, too. I prefer more veggies than meat in my hoagie, so I did ask for extra veggies (both pickled and non). They are legit! And I will order them again. I didn't try their spring rolls nor their egg rolls. My cousin got those. So I will have to try them the next time I visit. Will update if I can on here.
Overall: YES!!! I ABSOLUTELY and HIGHLY recommend going here. Great for the kids, great for the teens. It's just great for all ages. Mochi and Tea lounge prices are reasonable and more than...
ย ย ย Read moreThese drinks were delicious and exactly what I wanted! The a staff was very kind, and took extra time helping me select the perfect drink for my three year old daughter (she ended up going with a blueberry and mango non caffeinated juice blend). I had a lychee milk tea with black Boba and it was splendid. I really appreciated how much care the staff took in their work and how customizable the drinks were. We also enjoyed some spring rolls while we were there and the staff told me they were currently updating their menu. It was a very calm and happy atmosphere and one fun aspect I appreciated was that they provided a stack of games for guests to play while they sipped...
ย ย ย Read moreI ordered a brown sugar milk tea, but the label just says milk and it really doesnt taste like anything, so Im not sure if I really just got sugar milk?? Definetly have had better in the area- this one hardly had any flavor, just tasted like milk.. The brown sugar pearls usually have a more caramelly taste n they didnt. The tapioca pearls were still very good.. My bfs thai tea was very strong and creamy (too sweet, though.. shouldve done less sugar in that also). Might come back to try a mochi donut since they dont have many places with those around here. And the staff...
