The worst management and staff I have ever encountered. We had a simple order of two Island Greens with B-12 added to both and one with extra mango added. The girl at the counter was not listening at all which is odd because the store was empty at the time, just us ordering. After we had left, we realized she did not make one smoothie with extra mango and did not ask if I wanted to use my points for the B-12 add-ons. She just took it on herself to use the points. The difference to me is that those supplements are worth $3 and the points used are worth $9 or a free smoothie. In essence, she wasted points that could have gotten me a free smoothie, which is probably what her manager ask them to do, to save their bottom line. I called the store the next day, and the girl who answered would not give me the manager and subsequently hung up on me. I called back and a different girl answered and told me they were working on a big order and that there was nothing they could do. The manager hid behind his employees instead of dealing with an upset customer. Clearly this crew does not know how to deal with customers and should not be client facing. Maybe they are better served taking out the trash and cleaning the bathrooms, that includes the manager. Read moreThe “Manager” working on 7/8/21 around 7pm was very unprofessional, did not seem to know why they were doing and gave off a little laugh when I asked to speak with a manger then stated “speaking”. My issues were not addressed and was told I don’t know what to tell you. Poor management I usually have good experiences. I will be calling corporate or customer service line to address my issue. I was provided incorrect information regarding my delivery order through DoorDash.. I placed my order through the tropical smoothie website so I did not go directly through DoorDash. I called the store because I had been waiting for my order for over an hour. The “manager” on the shift stated no one had come to pick my order up and that no one was on the way and they couldn’t do anything else. I called DoorDash and they stated someone was picking up the order. DoorDash said to call the store to see if they were able to re make my order due to it sitting for around an hour. I called the store back and someone picked it up within a 10 minute period when calling tropical smoothie the first time and DoorDash. I then went to support and they stated I would need to go through the store since they took my payment.. already tried to speak with the “manager” on shift and they said they weren’t able to and acted as if they didn’t have my receipt on file. i've had smoothies with no ice, smoothies that turned into chemical projects after an hour, wraps with way too much lettuce, wraps with very little buffalo, cold wraps that should be warm, cold quesadillas(cheese isn't melted), and once my apple was colder than my shake, it was odd.
i'm at my wit's end with the place - the smoothies are good when made right. the food is good when made right. they have little to no consistency though.
such a shame cause i'd go there like twice a day if it was consistent!
edit -well, i'm lazy so i kept coming back just for smoothies, but no more food. no more smoothies either it seems. i just got an acai berry boost and it tastes like a banana. 100% banana. it looks like the acai berry boost i normally get, but holy S*^&, it tastes just like a banana. i feel like you just measure the ingredients and drop them in a blender, so i don't get it. maybe the acai berries were bad. maybe all the other fruit was bad. idk anymore, but fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. fool me 100 times, damn, alright, i should probably stop going here. it appears the place is looking for new owners so maybe i'll fool myself again when that change...
