Tacos El Wey — Restaurant in Manheim

I really wanted to love this place, and maybe I need to try something else on the menu, but the esquites was REALLY lack luster, I ended up putting more tajin seasoning on them. We ordered the enchiladas, which says on the website comes with refried beans and rice, and neither were included… I was super excited for a big juicy burrito, I got the Burrito Wey, but the chicken was very dry and there was hardly any steak in it. I was just really disappointed paying almost $15 for a burrito and it only came with about 5 tortilla chips. The food wasn’t BAD but all the reviews I’ve seen made it seem so amazing!! I’m just a little disappointed, especially that we didn’t get the rice and refried beans that were supposed to come with the meal. Might try again someday...

Definitely worth the stop! Don’t be confused when you find yourself inside the A&M pizza shop. Don’t worry you are in the right place. Once you’re there, head up to the front counter and look for the little kiosk off to the left to get your order put in. I had the steak and sausage tacos. They were absolutely amazing! I also got the side of yellow rice and bowl of street corn that I mixed together. Also on point!! Great, authentic flavor served on beautiful dishes. My only wish is that this place had its own brick and mortar spot or better yet, even a food truck. A must try if you like authentic Mexican. Please do not let the two reviews saying the food lacked flavor deter you from this AMAZING restaurant. I love authentic Mexican food and I am telling ya these were the BEST empanadas I have ever had. Everything has been great we have tried so far! Burritos are stuffed and delicious.
