We haven't gone into the restaurant quite yet, but we have received delivery from them twice so far.

We have nothing but great things to say about this place!!

First: there is finally an Asian food take-out /delivery place that delivers to Mira Lagos. Their delivery is directly through China Island and not through some third party. We are elated!

Second: you can order your delivery online! The system is a little antiquated, but it's simple and easy to follow.

Third: we have had an older gentleman delivery to us both times. He has always been really cheerful and very nice. The food is always neatly packed and anticipatory for potential spills, which is greatly appreciated!

Fourth: their food has always been fresh. Not only the "Wow, this is still hot" fresh but the "I can tell these vegetables weren't frozen and were cut today" fresh, which makes for amazing tasting food!

Fifth: the prices are very, very fair for the amount of food that you get.

Only "negative" that I have is that I wish they would deliver their teas/boba drinks! If they would set a minimum purchase amount for delivery and bring it with our food, this place would blow my mind. This won't stop us from ordering from them again and again and...

First let me say the food is very, very good. The portions are huge and the restaurant is extremely clean. But we were visiting in Mansfield and needed food after dark. The outside restaurant name sign was not lit so we weren't sure they were open but when we pulled up, we did see the open sign was on. My husband ordered Kung Pao shrimp and I ordered Vegetable Delight and an avocado boba tea. I guess the girl at the register didn't know how to make the tea, because there was an older woman at a table looking at a computer. The girl asked her to make the tea. The older woman, scowled, sighed and took forever to go make it. Sorry for the inconvenience but I am the customer. Then when the food came out, my order wasn't there. The girl at the register told me I didn't order it. I had given her the menu # and the name of the dish, so I know I did order it. After all that the older woman finally went to make my tea. So our meal was delivered in pieces. My husband was half way thru his meal before I even received mine. I would go back because the food is good but they need to work on their...

This used to be our go to for Chinese delivery. However the customer service has been terrible lately and the food has gone downhill.

The last time we ordered they lost my order, after an hour of waiting I called and asked for a credit for next time, to which they agreed. Then another hour passed and I called again, to which they replied, they thought I was canceling my order and just asking them to give me my money I already paid as a credit for the next time.

So after another 30 minutes wait (total of 2 hours now) I was able to pick up my food (not delivered, as I had ordered and paid for) and it was not very good.

Now, after a few weeks of avoiding it, I’ve decided to give them another shot and use my credit.

Of course, they have no credit to my account and the lady taking my order is arguing with me, that they have never had an order take longer than an hour.

Needless to say, I will not be eating here ever again. I can get Chinese from one of the other 12 places within 5 miles...

Stopped here for the first time for lunch. Not busy was able to walk right inside and place my order. I decided to get the orange chicken lunch special with fried rice. Meal comes with an egg roll as well. The food was ok nothing fantastic at all. It was a order once and find a new place next time restaurant for me personally. The orange chicken was good that's the only reason I gave a 2 star. The fried rice was bad. It had no flavor at all. The egg roll was not an egg roll at all. It was a very tiny spring roll. Spring rolls and egg rolls are very different and the menu should say such if that's what they give. Overall I will not return. So many options with better more flavorful food.

Not like “Arc-en-Ciel” in Arlington in the 1990s. But China Island is the tastiest Chinese food I’ve had in years. The finest I’ve experienced was at a floating restaurant in Kowloon. My wife and I ordered many dishes. We liked everything. Our favorites are “Happy Family” and “General Tso’s Chicken”. The spices are milder than many Szechuan dishes in other restaurants. But this allows us to enjoy the flavor more. China Island food has been delicious and fresh each time. And prepared fast each time. We’ve ordered online several times. Many times, via "Uber Eats", but once in a while, picking up orders ourselves. The portions are generous. For ordering online, they are tough to beat.

Worst most bland spring rolls I have ever had anywhere. It's two tiny shrimp wrapped up with very wet lettuce and noodles so over cooked and bland it will irritate you with every bite. The only thing that had ANY flavor was the overly sweet peanut sauce. The wrapper was burst as well due to the lettuce being overly wet. Save your money. Don't order the spring roll. Update: 9/13/23 The eggrolls were old and mushy on the inside. I'm thinking made a week in advance and simply reheated. The chicken was hit or miss in the same bowl. I got one piece that was both incredibly dry and tasting of spoilage. I am going to look for a new Chinese takeout restaurant.
