Worst Pizza Hut experience I’ve had in my life. I placed an order for delivery at 5:45 pm. The app said it would be delivered at 6:24 pm. Fine. At 6:40 i checked the status of my order and the app still preparing. I called to check the status of the order and the first person who answered (I’m assuming they were at a customer service center) hung up in my face. Called back and finally got transferred to the store. Well not actually speaking to someone but placed on hold. I stayed on hold, which was more than 30 min, as i drove to the store. Only to arrive and still b on hold. I waited in the lobby with other guest as the phone rang in the lobby. Several employees walked past the phone and no one even bothered to answer the ringing phone. Finally saw a delivery driver leaving out the door. I stopped him to ask if one of the orders were mine. Fortunately he had my order. So after an hour plus i finally got my order at 7:22. I ask the delivery driver could i at least get my delivery fee and tip back. He informed me he would have to speak to the manager and told me he wouldn’t be able to give me the delivery fee back since he technically delivered it to me in the parking lot. SMH. One of the worst experiences at any fast food or restaurant I have ever had. I placed my order online and did contactless service so that my wife could remain in the car with our two babies since I have been sick for the past week. Not only did they not come out with the pizza after waiting for over an hour, no one answered the phone for over an hour! How ridiculous! My wife had to take out our 2 year old and our 6 month old from their suv to go inside. After waiting for another 20 minutes my wife found out that no one was going to come to the front so had to scream to the back to get someone’s attention. Still no one came to the front. Just as she was about to give up and head back to the vehicle someone came up front. I understand that they maybe busy or at times understaffed but a simple acknowledgment or preparedness by them would go a long way!
