Ted's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Mansfield

Let me start by saying I am visiting this town not a part of the college. If you are looking for a college environment then this is the place for you. I showed up on trivia night at the end. Wanted a drink with a pal and was recommended to go to Ted's by the hotel we are at. We show up, obviously order the most basic stuff as where I coke from I just get whiskey and a beer. And then get rounds of that. Well I was served my shot of whiskey in a plastic jello cup that was so wide and short that you spilled half of the shot before you got it to your mouth then spilled more trying to get it in. On the second round I asked for glasses, one bartender was delightful and gave us glasses. Third round I bring the glasses up and a different bartender is there, I ask can u just put jack in these and she immediately ignores the glasses, grabs the short and wide jello shot pan plastic thing again and gives it to me in that. Not exactly the best experience for someone from out of town that wants a drink after driving 9 hours straight. Otherwise once trivia ended we were pretty much ushered out as not a lot of people were there anymore and the place closed. Could have easily enjoyed a few more rounds while there wasn't a loud trivia game going on so its a shame they closed early on us.

Two stars because of a cool design but ended up going to one star because finding the correct "entrance" is absolutely the hardest thing. Nothing's marked or labeled as the front and all the side doors seem to be...

I was less than impressed! First, my order was late, then there was food missing. I will say the missing items were delivered but it took almost a hour to get them (literally just Mac and cheese).I order a grilled chicken Caesar wrap with a side of Mac and cheese and a steak grinder. The “grilled” chicken wasn’t grilled at all, I’m pretty sure it came out of a can, there was no cheese or croutons (which the description says both) and pretty much non existent Cesar dressing. Once the Mac and cheese was finally delivered ( I was super excited about it) , it literally tasted like spoiled milk, so I had to throw it out. Due to the fact it took so long to get such a simple order that was incomplete, then having to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get my missing items, it wasn’t worth waiting even longer. I ordered a cheese steak and a six pack. I am new to the area, having just bought land and I am very pleased with this place. They took a bit long, over an hour, to deliver but I am satisfied. They included a bag of chips, and a pickle! I'm not even a fan of pickles but this was crunchy and tasty! The cheese steak was excellent! Also it was still hot by the time it got to me! I asked for the cheapest six pack and they brought me Narragansett light. I have never heard of this beer but it is refreshing and enjoyable! I am only giving your stats because it took a bit longer than expected but seeing as I only ordered a sandwich I can understand if they saved my delivery for last. In the end I got a hot delicious sandwich and cold delicious beer. I will add them to my phone...
