The Beached Bakehouse — Restaurant in Mansfield

The worst experience. I love supporting local shops and restaurants, and have never been treated the way I was by Mallorey. I should have listened to her other negative reviews and stayed far away. Instead, I was left the day of my event empty handed with several disappointed kids. What communication I did receive was hostile, unprofessional and belittling. Do better, Mallorey. And potential customers? There are much better local bakeries who would be happy to earn your business and show appreciation and respect.

I never received an invoice to pay, she never sent it. Being a first time customer, I was unaware that this was the next step in the process, many bakeries collect payment upon pick up. I asked if there was anything else required of me and I received no response. The day prior to my event I called and emailed with no response. The day after my event, instead of coming here to leave this review I reached out to Mallorey privately to inquire as to what happened. After no response for a week I “angry faced” a couple of your posts, and guess what, it worked. I had a response within a couple of hours. Hostile, rude and belittling response. I was shocked. I have ordered from this small business before and was impressed with the quality that I had to order again. The ordering process is easy and seamless. The instructions were clear and I had a reply back in no time. The place even encouraged me to send pictures of what I was looking for so that I had some creative input.

As with everything that involves a large sum of money, you're always anxious about what the end product will be, but I didn't have to wait a week for a reply like at some places. The bakery supplied what was promised, no drama, no bs or frills. I made sure to put my order in early because it is a small business and I recommend the same for anyone looking since she books up pretty fast with baking needs.

I highly recommend this place for your baking needs. Everybody asked me where I got my goods and everything tasted amazing! I promise you wont be disappointed in the quality and professionalism from this place. It beats going to Walmart or some mainstream bakery...

Sweet Things Bakery in Mansfield Highly Do Not Recommend! I do have screen shots of the conversations!! When I picked up the cake at 11 am, I told her it was way too small for a grooms cake! It was miscommunication on both parts!! She should have asked & I should have made certain it was clear to her what I needed. It was my son’s wedding day!!!! She offered to re-make it and deliver it to me by 2:30 pm the same day. She lied to me & no showed me!! She should have told me that she had no intention of bringing me another cake, so that other arrangements could be made. She did offer me a $15 refund🙄 You only have one chance to get certain occasions right, so I would not put my trust or money in this one!!!

Her name is Mallorey- Pick-up is available from her HOME bakery in Mansfield, TX which she does not advertise that it is an in home business!!!
