The ice cream here is made by the owners and is amazing! Very rich and creamy and absolutely delicious! They have creative flavors that they change up from time to time. You can sample flavors before buying.

It can get can get crowded on nice summer nights, I've seen the line out the door, but it's worth the wait. The waffle cones and bowls are delicious. They make them all day so they're always fresh, you'll smell them when you walk in. I don't normally get waffle bowls when I get ice cream but they gave me a sample when I came in and I was hooked!

They have a couple of picnic tables out back for seating but that's it unfortunately. No inside seating, except a cute bench shaped like a cow which is new this year. There's a very large parking lot in front of the building so eating in your car is ok.

It's a seasonal business, opens in the spring and closes in the fall. This makes for the service being a bit slower at times due to staff training. Flannel Cow Creamery in Mansfield, MA, is a great spot when it comes to delicious local ice cream. With a wide variety of flavors to choose from, there’s something to satisfy every palate, and they have good portions. The ice cream itself is consistently creamy and flavorful.

The staff are friendly and always ready to help. There’s plenty of parking in front, and a few areas to sit and enjoy your treat in the back, which is a nice touch.

However, the major downside is the wait time. The line is often long, and the service can be quite slow! It used to be more efficient when both the lobby and the window were open for orders, but lately, it’s been just the window, leading to longer waits. This has deterred us on several occasions, especially when we just want to grab a pre-scooped pint like we did in previous years.

Although the quality of the ice cream is good, they need to work on their efficiency. I’ve never had to wait this long (30 minutes usually now) at any other creameries, so I hope they can...

I want to love this place but the inconsistency is really starting to irk me. Especially for the price and how often I order. My order never changes. Pint of coffee oreo, literally the only thing I ever get. Lately the Oreo to icecream ratio has been way off. Sometimes I’m eating Oreos until the last bite. At least three times in the past month there’s literally no Oreo. I’m just digging the icecream out hoping to find Oreos and nothing. Please work on a consistent recipe. I want what I pay for and I don’t pay for a pint of plain coffee. If that’s what I wanted that’s what I would order....
