Mansfield Common — Attraction in Mansfield

Mansfield is a lovely town. Beautiful, older homes that are so well kept. Their common is probably the best I have ever seen. Well groomed, gorgeous shade trees, walking oaths and so clean. This is a town that says we are proud of ourselves. There is also a beautiful pond right down the street from the common. If you visit be sure to check out the art work on the underpass. My son and I were fortunate to have spoken with the artist and his mother who were hired by the town of Mansfield to paint this mural. The mural depicts actual memories from Mansfields past. Beautiful town common maintained to a high standard. Today's fund raising fair was well attended by numerous vendors supporting the cause. Too bad the on street parking abutting the common lacks lined spots for parallel parking because there was too much wasted space between parked vehicles and parking in general is lacking.
