Ferroni's Pizza — Restaurant in Manteca

After all the rave we decided to call in for pick up. It was about 2:30 pm so an off meal time on a Wednesday afternoon. It took three calls before I got a answer. When I ordered she said it would be a 30 minute wait. So we did a errand before we picked up since we live out of town. When I walked in the first red flag I seen the pizza being made with sliced cheese never seen pizzas being made like that before. I ordered a garlic pesto chicken large pizza. I substituted olives for the sun dried tomatoes because my husband can’t eat tomatoes. On the way home I was thinking the pizza didn’t smell very tasty. After eating a slice. Had way too many olives , the pesto was overpowering, the chicken was very limited with no flavor, couldn’t taste garlic at all. The crust was tough and hard. Couldn’t hardly bite it.The cheese nowhere near enough. For 35.00. We will throw what is left away. Sadly a waste of money first time ever for me to throw left over pizza away. Best pizza my family has ever eaten! We stopped by after my son’s football game, (we’re from out of town) and we were truly impressed with every aspect of Ferroni’s Pizza! Every ingredient is of high quality and fresh as can be. The crust is dynamite!! The ranch dressing is the best we’ve ever had and paired perfectly with their crispy mac & cheese bites. The pricing was great too because the caliber of this pizza is unmatched. You get a big, filling pizza for the money. It's a bit of an inconsistent wait, even when there's only one order in front of you, my single half & half pizza was a 45+ minute wait, while the order after us had 2 separate similar styles to my one and was out in a little over 20 minutes. If the added wait is known, a heads up to the customer would be appreciated.

My pepperoni, olive, and sausage side was good!

The BBQ chicken style could use a little more BBQ sauce, both under the toppings, and the top would benefit from a drizzle of sauce.
