The Well — Restaurant in Manteno

I've been in here 3 times now. Twice I've gotten drinks and twice I've gotten snacks. The drinks I've had are hit or miss. I still think some things need to be sorted out for seasonal beverages. Otherwise they're fine. The snacks are also fine. Unsure if they have an option to warm them up or not.

When I first came in to the shop, I thought the aesthetics were Modern Farmhouse etc., however while I was waiting for my drink, I realized the music playing was one of the local Christian stations and there are multiple biblical quotes around the store. As someone who is an exevangelical, this makes me extremely uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

If I need a snack real fast, like a scone or muffin, I'll stop here. Otherwise this is not my first choice. I'm heart broken as I love supporting locally owned businesses but this one...

The Well is the best coffee I've EVER had! I'm very picky about my coffee, and The Well never disappoints. The espresso is so smooth and delicious. You can drink the cold brew black, it's just that good! If you want something sweeter, try any of their syrups or seasonal drinks. I love adding cold foam to my drinks. My personal favorite foam is the toasted marshmallow, but they have so many other unique and tasty options! I used to get a major chain coffee multiple times a week. Now I only go to The Well. The chain coffee doesn't compare. Not only do they have the best coffee, the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. Seriously love almost everything about this place. The coffee is delicious, the decor is adorable and welcoming, and the music is spot on. The only thing wrong about it is that around 3 pm, it seems to be the local middle school hang out where parents let their kids stay there unsupervised. This has happened at least three times now. I love going there to do homework but after a certain time it becomes way too loud and there are kids running around everywhere.
