Bagels & Market Maple Shade — Restaurant in Maple Shade Township

We tried Bagels & Market this morning and where do I begin? It's absolutely fantastic and the bagels are the best we've ever had. They were fresh and they had a perfectly crispy outside and a soft, chewy inside. We got bagels with cream cheese and one with cream cheese and eggs and they were both excellent.

We also ordered a dozen bagels and it came with two containers of cream cheese. We got the plain and Oreo. The selection of bagels was very good and the cream cheese was great. The Oreo cream cheese tasted like cheese cake!

The staff was so kind. Sara was very helpful when we were ordering and her customer service was superior. The gentleman who rang us up was every bit as kind and we would go back just to support their business based on how wonderful and polite they were.

The building itself was really clean and even though it's a simple convenience store, they've managed to make it feel like a classy establishment on the inside.

The prices were fair and we live around 15 minutes away and we would gladly drive past other bagel shops just to go here. If you're into bagels and you're looking for a really great place to get some, Bagels & Market must be on your list of...

My daughter was craving a bagel sandwich similar to one she had from a very popular bagel spot in Ocean City, MD. We googled bagel shops in the area and decided to try Bagel House in Maple Shade. I've driven past this place hundreds of times on my way to work but was never tempted to stop as it seems quite ordinary, but we decided to give it a try as the place we originally tried was closed for the day. As my daughter waited in the store for her bagel sandwich, I read the online reviews. I'm not much of a skeptic, but so many of the reviews sounded alike in how complimentary they were of the staff and the food that I thought they were perhaps fake. We come from a family of good cooks and are somewhat critical of food from other places. However, when my daughter came out of the store and took one bite out of her sandwich, she echoed the same sentiments as those reviews; that it was the best sandwich she had ever tasted and that the staff was friendly. She loved it and wanted to get another one the next day! I haven't personally tried anything from this shop yet but am very impressed by the extensive menu. Easily the nicest people I've met in a while. I didn't get any names but everyone who works here looks like they genuinely want to be there.

Food is priced average for the market, but the bagels are large and they load cream cheese inside. If you like light cream cheese, you could easily order a second bagel plain and use cream cheese from the first for the second.

The cheddar habanero cream cheese has some bite, and the plain is decent. The bagels were good, I tried two different kinds and both were enjoyable.

My roommate got a quesadilla and really liked it, and the cold brew is solid, I am enjoying it with just 2% milk. I wish there was soy milk as an option, I am lactose intolerant and I'm allergic to oat milk. It's the only milk/creamer I can have that doesn't cause issues for me while tasting close to milk. To be fair, I didn't ask if they had soy milk so maybe they do.

In summary, service is excellent, food is good, and the coffee is good. I'll be back to try more in the future, it will be a regular rotation for...
