Wawa — Restaurant in Mount Laurel Township

Very disappointed with the customer service, i ordered a pepperoni pizza for my kid last night. It was late around 9 at night and we had a long day so I figured we’d grab something quick and my toddler wanted pizza. We get home and there’s no pepperoni on it so as picky toddlers act my child was upset . I took off the cheese to see if it was under it because I know some places do tbat. And nope nothing. At this point my toddler is upset demanding pepperoni pizza, I explain to them I’ll get some tomorrow. So I go in today and show them a picture of the pizza with no pepperoni on it or under the cheese and ask for a new pizza. Candace the manger looks at me like I’m crazy and goes can’t help you we don’t do pizza until 4. I said well can I have store credit so I can get a pizza later. She goes no kot unless you return the pizza but you ate it right? I said well my toddler picked at it I didn’t think y’all wanted it back. She says you should have came back or called last night if you wanted another pizza. I said by this point it was 10pm I needed to get my child fed and to sleep and wasn’t dragging them back out , she goes well if you ate the pizza then I can’t help you. At this point I’m wondering does she want me to dig through my trash and return the picked at pizza? I clearly showed pictures of the pizza being incorrect. So I said well can I come back at 4 for a new pizza and she goes I guess, ask for Kirk. So I’ll return and let’s see if Kirk has a better attitude. I feel kind of weird leaving a review for a Wawa, but as a frequent traveler and gas station food aficionado, I knew I'd have to check it out. Every time I'd ask recommendations for food from the Jersey folks I met, they'd tell me to go to Wawa. I went around midnight on a Friday, and had an Italian sub, and some Kerrs Ketchup flavored chips. It was pretty good, a great post bar or late night food option.
