Amazing Hamilton Diner — Restaurant in Maplewood

I live across the street and was super excited to know they reopened the diner. The restaurant was very clean and nice waiters. The food was not good at all except for the bacon. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, pork bacon and French toast. The eggs were an omelette and cheese slices on top not scrambled at all. The French toast was soggy and soft. I will not be ordering any of this from them. Please do better so folks can come back to eat breakfast. It wasn’t worth the $17 they charged me....

I ordered the steak quesadillas, but it was nearly impossible to find any steak in them, and they had a strange fatty taste. The French fries were also disappointing. My husband ordered breakfast burritos, but after one bite he couldn’t continue because of the same odd taste. They didn’t even ask why we weren’t eating. We waited over 30 minutes for food that was far below expectations, even though the diner was almost empty. I cannot...

Very disappointed... Walked in to take a look at the menu, nothing was noted online. Menu seemed limited, but the real deal breaker was they had no air conditioning on a day the temps climbed into the 80's. When I asked about it they pretended nothing was wrong... I couldn't sit down and even try to eat. I know the place is fairly new but this isn't a good start....
