Village Trattoria — Restaurant in Maplewood

It was the Maplewood location. NOT SUMMIT. - Terrible service by the girl and the guy working there yesterday. I ordered a cheesesteak plain with nothing but cheese. The guy barely wanted to acknowledge me. I got my sandwich, got home, there was everything on it. Peppers onions French fries and marinara sauce stuffed inside. Like a fat sandwich. It was for my mom who has been sitting with my dad all day at Overlook hospital. She ate it because she was starving and it was already close to 8pm. It was nothing like she wanted but because of the circumstances she picked at it. I called to say something to them, not to get my money back but because I just moved to the area and it really bothered me that my mom's already hard day had to deal with that. Paying almost 20$ for a cheesesteak you would think you would get what you ask for. The girl who answered the phone was so rude. She said she was sorry but because we ate it there's nothing she can do. Almost laughing at me.. like you ate it?? So why are you calling. I didn't want to get into that it for my mom etc. but the costumer service there is horrible and they treat you like you are doing something wrong by complaining. It was a mistake.. just acknowledge it and we will all move forward but instead because of the way they acted I will NEVER...

Placed Phone orders for three dinners and three salads. Machine was busted so was told I had to pay cash. After paying $65 realized that one salad was missing by the time I got home. Called Trattoria and they did not offer an apology for the missing salad but told me the salad was FREE with the entrée and that I should come back. Young girl was extremely rude and hung up the phone when I told her my salad was not FREE when I just paid $65 cash. As a customer I expect to receive my food and shouldn’t have to make two trips and burn unnecessary gas to correct your mistake. Customer service is HORRIBLE. 1st I live in SOMA for 20yrs and frequently go to the SO location. The customer service at Maplewood today was very bad and maybe racist😫 I order soup and 2 chicken parm sandwiches to stay. I went to check on the order .and the cashier said and very rude and cold way they are backed up and your gonna have to wait. She was unfriendly rude her attitude was unpleasant I told her wanted to cancel the order because she was negative and I wanted my refund . She said no! I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manger Disgusting . I told her I wanted my money back another guy had to telll her to refund it..
