I would have rated zero stars, but the program won't allow me to post it without a star rating? Because this place doesn't deserve even a half of a star. When we arrived, we waited for someone to seat us, like the sign stated. Then, after waiting over 5 minutes, some scruffy unkempt individual showed up, advised us to not pay attention to the sign, and just seat ourselves. We seated ourselves, then the waiter arrived and asked if he could get us drinks. We ordered a beer each, but he advised that their tap hadn't been working properly. So he advised we get the beer in a bottle. We took his advice. We then asked about the "Family Buffet" that is offered on Tuesday nights. You get a great selection of Digiorno's finest freezer pizza with pepperoni or cheese, soggy tater tots, a pasta that isn't cooked completely, topped with Ragu straight from the jar, as is ALL of their pasta sauces. They also have a garlic bread (Freezer box Texas Toast with extra parsley sprinkled on) that wasn't even warmed completely. Then they mix it up a bit and put mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken tenders straight from the microwaveable box out for the kids to have. They had ONE ITEM on the buffet that was somewhat reasonable, the sausage, peppers and onions.
Then the shocker, the bill. We received the bill which charged us for Pint size draft beers, when in reality we received 16 oz bottles. And the fact that they are in business in an upscale part of the city, and they charge a $5 fee for patrons using something other than cash to pay for their meal just baffles me. If your business uses Fry's Food freezer section for your menu, you should re-think what you are offering the public.
I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this...

This is a place you go to because you live somewhat nearby and want to go to a Sit Down restaurant.
First off, the Pizza and Italian food is OK at this place. Not excellent but OK. However, you can get about the same quality of food elsewhere for about the same price. I would not drive across town to eat here.
Here is what is good about this place. Its good for families. No one is going to care that one of your kids is throwing a super loud tizzy fit. Think one small step up from Pizza Hut.
It does not attempt to be upscale.
It's very clean and spacious.
The employees are always above average in service.
Its a place to have a drink and snacks after work.
If you do not have kids, the place to go sit is out on the Patio. Very nice and chill. You can pretend that you own a house in the foothills and this is your backyard.
Second best seating area is in the bar. Because you have a view of the back patio and the service in the bar is always Top Notch.
The main dining area is where you want to go if you have kids in tow.
I have eaten here somewhere between 5 and 10 times, but I do not remember any one food item that I ordered. What does that tell you?
I like Italian restaurants as the sides menu is usually full of meats for us low carb'ers.
I really like this place despite the tone and star rating of my review. If they just had one or two exceptional items on the menu I would give it a 4 Star. The location and employee's do warrant a 4...
Read moreI went when they first opened and did not enjoy the food too much. I chalked it up to first week jitters, but had not been back tonight. With a family member in from out of state We decided to try again. We ordered three pizzas and some pasta to share. 1/3 pizzas had good flavor, but the crust (thin and original) was terrible; burnt yet soft and stale. We did not even finish 3 pieces between 4 1/2 people. Again, with our alfredo, it had OK flavor but the chicken had to have been reheated to oblivion. I was so embarrassed for my aunt who drove 18 hours to just stare at her plate and attempt to feign interest in her food.
We did speak to a manager to complain. They said they sold several pizzas tonight without complaint, but did offer to comp roughly 40% of the bill. After discount we just paid $45 for some garlic bread (no drinks).
Garlic bread was good though... 2/5. Probably will not try again. Maybe I will take the drive to...
