This morning I stopped at a McDonalds drive-thru for breakfast for me and my office. Besides ordering breakfast sandwiches, I also ordered a cup of coffee and asked the order taker if it would be possible to put the coffee in my cup, so they would not waste a cup? She told me that it might be possible? By the time I got to the window, she informed me that they could not because of cross contamination?
When I arrived at the first window to pick up my food; I asked the staff member what the difference was between me putting my cup on the window ledge for him to fill up and me eating in the lobby and putting my cup for a refill on the restaurant counter? He stated that it was possible; plus, he did not know where my cup had been.
He gave me the cup of coffee at the window and I poured it into my cup. At this time, I informed him that me pouring the cup of coffee could be a liability if I poured it on myself and got burnt? Once I finished pouring the cup of coffee into my cup; I attempted to hand him the empty McDonald's cup, but he refused to take it, stating that it was now cross contaminated because I had touched it and it was in my car.
I have never been so humiliated in my life at a restaurant before! I worked for McDonald's for many years, starting when I was attended high school, and was a trainer and manager for many years. What ever happened to the saying "The Customer is Always Right"? This motto that McDonald's had was our livelihood! It seems like nowadays the restaurant employees don't value the fact that the only reason the business is open in the first place is because of the repeat business given to them by the customers in their area. Ken Camacho would not have a job, if it wasn't for the fact that me, my family, and neighbors close to this restaurant have frequented it at least twice a week.
And for Mr. Camacho to treat me like I have a contagious disease, so he cannot throw the empty McDonald's coffee cup that he just handed to me out?
Isn't he cross contaminating when he takes payment for the food people order, or when he has to hand them an ice cream cone? I believe that Mr. Camacho needs further training on your restaurant policies and how to not be little the customers when they visit his store and are helped by him? What...

Summer 2024 After going through drive-thru and making a long drive home to get my order, I saw that 1 McDouble was missing. I called the receipt number and was only able to leave a message. I looked up the store number thinking I could let them know a McDouble was missing expecting a nice calm I'll make a note so you can come get it on another day. I was grateful they answered and gave receipt info of what happened. Instead of a kind response I was surprised to get a snarky flippant voice saying, "I remember that order and I never make mistakes!" I asked who am I speaking to and was told N _ _ _ _ . I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager on duty. I said, "Why are you speaking to me in that tone?" She said she just had another customer get in her face. I told her I'm sorry that happened, but I did not do anything to her. She continued to be aggressive and abrupt telling me that I could come back to get 1 McDouble that if another manager was there they might give me something else. I never asked for anything else. This seemed like she was accusing me of trying to get something else and that my claim was untrue. She never recovered her ability to respond with kindness and never apologized. We ended our chat with me apologizing to her for having a bad experience with previous customers. I think N _ _ _ _ cares about her job but she is in need of deescalation role-playing skills practice in dealing with common customer service encounters. She was not kind, courteous or friendly. I can't imagine what it would be like to work with her, and it would be no fun if she were manager in charge. She is not a good role model and does not have problem...

"Why didn't you ask for it when you ordered, you can do that you know" then she walked away and closed the window literally before i could say 1 word.. she then came back with 1 ranch.... i didnt want to deal with her so i drove over to frys to eat my food before going to work... my first bite of chicken had one of those bones/cartilage pieces that you cant bite thru...also the frys were stale as if they had been sitting for an hour... i understand i didnt arive during peek hours but you should still have the same fresh quality of food anytime of day i would have waited 5 more min for food that would have beem prepared with care i tossed my food after 1 bite and went to the subway right next to me got a sandwich made prompt with no problems and no complaints there customer service was way better and the girl doing my whole order was in training.... a trainy that is smarter then a manager... I guess this is what happens when you have no real work ethic or customer service skills you end up at McDonald at the age of 70 training people that will show the same quality and care as you provide them with ....garbage....and end up dying working every day of there life with no retirement plan with an "i dont care attitude"i have seen homeless people that would do better in this position do to there understand of respect and caring ability .....they value a dollar and what they have to do to get it this lady and her staff clearly do not give a dam she doesn't deserve the $10.50 wage she is getting.........................."edit" i just read thru your other comments .... there are people complaining about the same lady why is she working...
