To be honest, the pizza actually looks really good here. I saw it from people who were eating when I walked into the establishment. The issue is, I called at 8:10 PM on a Tuesday night to order three pizzas for my family and I was put on hold and told someone would be “with me shortly”. After 20 minutes I was cut off. So I drove the several miles to go there directly and place our order, arriving at 8:45 PM (they close at 9:00). When I got there they told me they were “sold out” and no longer taking orders. I explained that I was on hold for 20 minutes at 8:10. They said, doesn’t matter, “we’re sold out”. I explained to them that if they had simply told me that at 8:10 I could’ve made other arrangements for my family instead of now having nothing 40 minutes later. I didn’t get much sympathy. You don’t have a message saying “someone will be with you shortly“ if you’re no longer taking any orders. I get it - pizza places sometimes get so many orders they have to stop taking them because they have as much as they can service. But then let your customers know that, don’t tell them someone’s going to help them shortly and keep them on hold for 20 minutes, only to then cut them off without any clue. Terrible, terrible service. But honestly, the pizza looks great - if...
Read moreMy wife and I called in kinda of late one night to see if they were still accepting orders after a sunset cruise, they said they closed in twenty minutes but still accepted our order for a pizza and mozzarella garlic knots. When we arrived they said it was just about done. As we chatted with the cashier the cook came out and apologized and said the pizza got a little too burnt underneath and he wanted to remake it for us because he didn’t want to serve that. They easily could have tossed the burned pizza in a box and shoved us out the door. But they remade it for us to give us their best quality product and it did not disappoint my wife and I believe this is the best pizza we have had. The staff went above and beyond and they even gave us extra garlic knots to apologize for the delay which I told them they didn’t have to. My wife and I will be back next time we are in the area. Dave might have given them a 7.7 but we...
Read moreDave Portnoy did not lie when he said this is the best pie in the Keys. If you like NY style pizza this place doesn’t miss. Got a half pep half cheese, definitely solid 9.7 out of 10. Good color on the crust, crunchy, cheesy, cooked to perfection. Plus you can’t beat the price for 2 ppl, we only ate half the pizza with a salad and still have half left over for tomorrow.
On top of that their customer service is a1. I went there yesterday to get a Key Lime pie after reading their reviews and they were sold out. I told them I would be back tomorrow. When I went there today they didn’t have any ready yet and said probably this evening. I left my name and number and Elson text me when they had them ready. They only had 2 and 1 was reserved specifically for me. I haven’t tried it yet as I’m stuffed from the deciduous pizza and salad but I’ll update the review once I do!
We will definitely be back thank you coast to...
