Hemingway said “I drink to make other people more interesting.” That is the genius of Mr Bs. Because if you don’t drink when you are there, you will surely die of boredom. As a result of their genius, the extremely limited staff can’t keep drinks in the hands of all the thirsty patrons. Most dive bars have a unique charm, the French would say “I don’t know what” or je ne sais quoi. And I certainly don’t know what keeps people coming back to Mr Bs. Maybe it is the sense of so many people participating in nothing that builds anticipation for something to happen. And maybe that’s what makes the karaoke night so amazing. Came here with a date but it turned bad pretty quick so I was stuck here for a while. My only biggest complaint is the smoke smell. It is VERY strong. Aside from that though, the people are really nice, especially the owner and doorman. Drink prices are reasonable and it can be a great place to come out and have a good time in the city. They have pool tables too.

Seemed cool door was open lights on and people inside before 2am but was closed. Trying to find a cool after hours hangout here since I'm used to Austin. May suggest locking the door or putting the closed sign or open sign off when close. Up to y'all though. Will try an earlier time next time since there isn't much open past 8/9/10 on week days here in Marble Falls. One of the girls complimented my jacket on the way out though and that was sweet.
