Would like to make this my go to Dunkin since my mom moved around the area, but after the third visit I donât think itâs worth the attitude.
Firstly, the speaker outside you can barely hear anything the staff is saying. I canât hear them and when I talk I get no response, so I drove to the window. Iâm greeted with a âwhy are you here at my window I didnât take your order.â Excuse me??
Secondly, the website says they close at 8 so I get there at 740. They did not want to take my order because theyâre in the process of closing down. I asked if they close at 8 and she said she wants to leave @8 not start closing down @8. Ok whatever.
Today my mom really wanted a hot chocolate. They close @8pm so we arrived @725. The blonde young lady that Iâve interacted with on the other two occasions was the one taking my order. Yay, I already knew to expect either an attitude or a I donât want to do this. Exactly this. She told me she closes down the chocolate machine @7 and doesnât plan on opening it again as itâs clean and ready to be closed down. I said but you close at 8 and she said yes but itâs clean and I want to leave @8 not start closing @8. So I asked her whenâs the best time to come if they close at 8 and she said by 7. lol Dunkin do better. I've been told it's the same owner as the one on Royal Palm and I live near both of them except this one has drive through and Royal Palm does not. So I've been suffering shoddy service at their drive through for the sake of convenience almost every morning. It started when they decided that you have to specify hot or iced when placing your coffee order or risk them making the wrong one and wasting your time waiting for them to remake it. Seriously?!? Unless someone asks for "iced" coffee any other "coffee with cream and sugar" order means HOT! Not to mention how often they get the amount of cream, sugar or any extras incorrect... It seems they place a higher emphasis on speed at drive through than accuracy. If it's not too sweet it's not sweetened at all. Too creamy or not creamy at all. Flavor shot/swirl or they miss it completely. All they have to do is LISTEN to what's ordered. Repeat what's ordered. Then when handing the items to the customer REPEAT it again to make sure again.    Read moreI come to this location every morning before work. The guy that usually rings me up is really nice and is always friendly. Today I stopped by to get my family breakfast. Pulled into the drive through, and this time it was someone else on the headset taking our order. Before I can finish my order he cut me off and told me my total and to pull up. So I pulled up and asked for the manager. Turns out the manager was the one taking the order. So I informed him of how rude it was to cut me off and I was not finished with my order. With a big snarky grin he said yeah, ok, sorry. He, in no way tried to fix it or take the rest of my order.
