Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Margate

Every time i go in this place and im helped by the same tall black kid with the high top and glasses he gives me a hard time for how i look i guess. the first time i just try to roll up and pick up my pizza at night and when i tell him my name he says he knows it was me in a weird way. i didnt really think to much of it at the time but after i go in to pick up my pizza today at 6:30pm i tell him my name and he asks me if im nicholas cruz. i didnt even know who that is so i ask him who is that and he tells me its a kid who shot up a middle school. im not even sure what he was getting at but thats kinda messed up for him to go out of his way to say then after i tipped him $2 and im literally just picking up a pizza... he said his name was noah lavine i swear you cant even make this up the lady watching the whole thing was shaking her head weirdest thing ive been apart of i na long time but thats just evil. anyways the pizza here is decent and cheap so thats cool but that was a curveball i dont think he likes people that look like me however that may be felt a little racially motivated if you ask me

Edit 5/30/2024: Got contacted by "Hama" the manager who didn't want to introduce himself as the manager when i called him which is super shady. Basically disregarded what I said and patronized me about the whole situation saying he'll look into it and to "not tell him what to do!" multiple times getting loud with me for no reason I'm literally trying to calm this guy down on the phone telling him to do what he pleases. My husband and 5 year old went there this past Wednesday. After they paid and were waiting, my daughter was playing with a piece of paper from the water bottle. It dropped on the floor. Immediately, the gentleman, come to find out that he is the driver name Gary, yelled at her and told her in a harsh tone to pick it up. I understand that she dropped the paper, but I do not appreciate him embarrassing my husband and child, especially when other customers were in the place. My husband told him to not talk to our daughter that way. He continued to argue with my husband. The manager had to tell the driver to stop arguing. I am a manager of multiple medical facilities, customers/patients come first. I as a manager would never embarrass the customer. I would rather bend down and pick it up myself. My daughter is a small child, she did not know better. She started to hide behind my husband. If you have cameras, you should look. My husband left, needless to say, did not even wait for the pizza. I called that evening and spoke to the manager, JJ, he said that this is not the first time that this has happened. I have directed all of my offices to never order from their again as the culture to their customers clearly do not match what we believe. I believe restructuring of your employees as well as classes on customer service skills needs to be implemented. I believe that the people are our bread and butter and we are suppose to serve the public, not chastise. We order yesterday and Today the magnifico pizza..It was very good. Shamal was on shift. Today and He greet me promptly and with a beautiful smile. We asked for the the Magnifico special. Usually a large pie 2 types if pepperoni for about 10 dollars. I order the special pizza and order of 10 chicken wings. We received a medium pepperoni pizza , 10 small cold and over load with barbecue sauce chichen wings for total of 25 dollars. I talked to the Manager Kevin. He believed he doesn't have any specials , Maybe in another stores !! I said but I saw it on line when I got your phone number...he said maybe on line but not in the store.
