Hey y’all! I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Cajun Corner, and it was an experience that left my taste buds absolutely dancing!
I got two apps: the gator bites and the boudin balls. The gator was crispy on the outside and super tender within. The boudin balls were equally impressive; perfectly fried with a filling that was bursting with flavor and the perfect cheese pull.
For my main, I opted for the flight, and I chose etouffee, gumbo, and jambalaya. Each dish was a testament to authentic Cajun cooking. The etouffee was rich and creamy, the gumbo was hearty, and the jambalaya had a perfect balance of spice, each complementing the other beautifully.
I was lucky enough to sample two desserts: the blueberry bread pudding and the maple peach bread pudding. Both were absolutely DIVINE. I’ll be dreaming about that bread pudding.
Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving Cajun cuisine, and the owner of this Cajun gem truly pours her heart and soul into every aspect of the restaurant, infusing it with her passion for good cooking and her deep-rooted love for her heritage. Her commitment to quality and community shines through every bite! I’ll be...
Read moreMy family and I tried Cajun Corner tonight and it was fantastic! So glad to have a spot like this close by.
We started with the gator bites, and they were delicious — especially with the Cajun sauce (definitely preferred it over ranch).
We also got the flight with gumbo, étouffée, and jambalaya, which was such a fun way to sample everything. All three were full of flavor and hit the spot.
The Chicken Beinville was absolutely delicious — a creamy pasta dish that can be ordered with chicken or shrimp. Perfection.
The fried shrimp were equally tasty — crispy, seasoned just right, and cooked perfectly.
But the real star of the show was the seafood pie special. Honey, let me tell you... that was a solid 10/10.
For dessert, we tried the beignets, and dare I say it — they were even better than Café Du Monde in New Orleans! And the red velvet bread pudding was such a unique twist — just the right amount of sweetness, topped with icing. So good.
Another fun touch? They bring out boiled peanuts to start — love that Southern twist!
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Y’all go eat &...
