I don't see how this cafe has high reviews. The only reason it's getting 3 stars is they were friendly and the setting reminds me of a granny's kitchen. The food would get no stars if it were possible. I'm not sure if we came at a bad time or what, but we won't be back. We wanted to support local for brunch on a Sunday. Found this place and saw good reviews and pictures. It was a different story once actually there. The food was NOT worth the price (and yes, I get inflation...BUT). My husband and I's scrambled eggs weren't cooked fully. His corned beef hash was barely cooked, hash browns were soggy and burnt at the same time. My grits were the worst I've had. My daughter ordered French toast, the toast was the thinnest I have ever seen. The portion was fitting for a toddler NOT a teenager, and for the price I expected more food. The only things edible were the bacon, toast, and biscuit. I wish I would have taken pictures. The bill price was NOT worth the food. We try not to give bad reviews and we sit on it before writing, but this one just can't be looked past.
