The Waffle Iron Of Marianna — Restaurant in Marianna

Despite all the negative reviews and knowing that this will be seen. I will have to say that I know this is the best restaurant for this small town. After, the area was hit by such a devastating storm this small country kitchen has to continued to thrive in many ways. My family and I have seen where it is has been packed and many people have been turned away for multiple different situations whether it was close to closing time or disrespectful customers. My family and I have been to this wonderful restaurant many times and have had nothing but a great experience each time we have gone. Unfortunately, I understand that we have had to wait for a table to be cleaned and for others to get done with their meals and we have had no problem with being patient and enjoying the time together and not having to rush to eat and rush to the next thing that we have to do that day. Yes, I understand that sometimes you may pay more in some cases for other food and that is true. But, if you go to Waffle House you will not get to same customer experience that you will get here. Being family owned they will treat...

Went by to have breakfast this morning 2/11 and after waiting for about 10 minutes the girl finally brought a menu to the table and asked what I would like to drink? I asked her "what kind of soft drinks do y'all have"? Very quickly she popped off Coke and Pepsi. So I said no thanks I'll just drink water. She brought the water and I said y'all don't even have Diet Coke. She popped off with an attitude "I told you we have Coke and Pepsi products". I told her "no you told me all yall had was Coke and Pepsi not Coke and Pepsi products". I went ahead and ordered my breakfast but after she left I got to thinking about the attitude she came at me with and I decided to leave. I wish I would have thought to get her name but I was so shocked at her attitude toward me I didn't think about it. I "Will Not" be back. I was going to take my wife in there later this week but with the server's attitude Waffle Iron lost my business forever and I will never return!!!!!!!! Waffle Iron needs to think about that with servers that run customers off with their rotten attitude they have...

We are from out of town and was going to go here for breakfast. We drove up and the restaurant is permanently closed. You should probably update your site.

First off wow...I see your response and I gotta say how rude. I was not rude in my review. This makes me choose how many stars and since I did not eat there how can I rate you higher? You have to understand why I would feel that way when there appears to be a lot of devastation in your area from the hurricane. Your lot was empty and there were signs on door that were not visible from lot. Second, i am happy that you are not closed and are able to vacation. Good for you. Lastly, because of your response I can promise you we will never eat there when we drive that way again. Your response could have been handled with a little more tact.
