Make sure you get an itemized receipt because I was over charged by $6 & I was only refunded $4.00. I didnt realize that I wasn't refunded the correct amount until I reviewed my receipts this morning. I always found that it was odd that they never give an itemized receipt when a purchase is made. Who knows how long this has been going on for. The food is decent & the restuarant is always clean.
Edited on 08/25/18: Thank you for your response, but I would like to point a few things out to you.
I did not slander your business and this was my experience. If I slandered your business I would have said some thing a long the lines like this, " I was overcharged by $6 & they refunded $4. They were supposed to refund me an extra $2. They did this on purpose so they can steal from me. I found it odd that they never gave itemized receipts. They probably do this to customers on purpose & charge them small increments of $1 - $2 that can easily go unnoticed. Who knows how long this has been going on. They've probably have been stealing from customers for years!!!!", but I did not state this. Regardless of the experience I have, whether it's a positive or a negative experience I write a review.
An itemized receipt should not be something that a customer should have to request, it should be something that is given. The majority of businesses make it mandatory to give their customers itemized receipts. For example, Los Favoritos, Ross, Walmart, Fry's, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Chipotle, Subway, Amazon, Panda Express, hospitals, Dental practices, etc.
I understand that people make mistakes & we are all human. If I did not ask for an itemized receipt this mistake would have went unnoticed. When I stated "who knows how long this has been going on?", who really knows how many times this mistake accidentally happened. There's no way for you to verify this because itemized receipts are not automatically given. There's no checks & balances in place to prevent this from happening.
If you were to make providing itemized receipts to your daily process you can minimize this mistake from happening in the future. If itemized receipts are automatically given, this will allow the cashier to verify that he/she entered the order in correctly & the customer can review that he/she was charged correctly.
Instead of taking this constructive criticism as slander, you should have taken this as a learning experience to change your daily process & prevent this from happening in the future.
Professionalism goes a long way. Instead of the response you gave, you could have responded in a different fashion. For example, " Thank you for your response & apologies for this mistake. I'm glad that the cashier was able to rectify this mistake by refunding you $xyz. The refunded amount of $4 was the difference of the cost of the $6 burrito & the cost of a$2 taco. Read moreMy husband suggested that we go here because it was quick and easy to get to. Though I hadn't cared for it several years ago, restaurants change, and I agreed to try it again. It had probably been six or seven years...
I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. They come with guac and pico.
Covid is still around, so everything they currently sell is to-go.
The tacos were large, a change from other Mexican locations in the area, and they were generous with the meat. I also appreciated the thin tortillas that held together well.
Sadly, the food was dripping with grease and the guac looked runny and turned brown before we got home (10 mins max).
But it's about flavor... so I tried them... . They were bland, even with their red salsa.
Needless to say, it will probably be another six or seven years before I return. There are too many other places in town with fresh guac and...
Read moreWorst place I've been too initially it seemed like a pretty decent place but after taking a bite out of my food and feeling a crunch in my beef burrito and finding out there was a bug inside of it I asked for a refund the lady and her husband would not refund me my money so a nice customer insisted i take his 5 dollars but I took it to show how rediculous they were being and insisted the shop refund me and not their customers and the lady snatched my 5 dollars from my hand and handed it back to me with 11 cents and I left out of the door and the lady was grabbing my arm and I was going to defend myself so basically I never really got refunded my money... As a person who has worked in customer service its just common sense that the customer is always right especially when they find a bug in their food. I do not recommend this place...
