We order from here often for a business. We place our order 24 hours in advance online so that it can be here on time. Last night we expected a delivery at 5:15. The LaRosa's Mariemont store number popped up on my phone around 5:11 and stopped ringing before the first ring finished. I IMMEDIATELY called back and said I was expecting a large pizza order soon and didn't want to miss it. I was then transferred to the call center where Greg told me, "whoever answered earlier said we didn't need the pizzas anymore?!" I told him that no one would have answered my personal phone. He then asked if I would have the card with me, to which I responded no, It's a company card, it has been paid for, I have the confirmation email with me and we have never had this issue before. I was put on hold for 12 minutes while he "checked with the mariemont store". I was then accused of giving a bad card and a bad phone number (the same one I was calling from). He came back apologizing saying it was a technical error and that there was never an order placed. Greg said he would make the order free and that it would be going out with the next driver. I couldn't care less if the pizza was free or not, we were trying to feed parents and children who were promised dinner. The pizza then arrived at 6:10 with an extremely rude man who was throwing the pizzas and salads around and complaining about how he wasn't getting a tip because the order was comped. I know it's not the drivers fault that for some unknown reason the pizzas weren't made/technical error/various excuses as to why our pizza wasn't there. I get it! However, he came in beyond rude and disrespectful and yelling at me about what he assumed I did wrong and walked out before I could get a word in or hand him money. I felt embarrassed and very disrespected by this drivers actions. To top it all off the pizza arrived cold. Definitely not just made and sent out with the...
Read moreI WASTED MY MONEY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO!! While in Cincinnati I am always excited to try some local flavors. Chilies, soups, and hot drinks always makes for a nice splash in the winter snow, so I landed on Mariemont’s LaRosa’s Pizza Baked Onion Soup. Rave reviews for the Hyde Park Location, but friends and company where near and ordering the downtown Mariemont area…. Nevertheless , I highly recommend the area around this place. (Sidebar: Movie theater, Starbucks, pet and human grooming, art galleries and so much more!! This restaurant is out of place! The people inside are nice, it’s the food. Apparently the original family changed and sold the recipes or something don’t quote me on that; it’s just local chatter.)
The Baked Onion Soup at this location is a 2/10. It’s more like an onion gravy with a soggy slice of bread and a melted, not baked glob of cheese. The pack of crackers where old and stale. I had no choice other than properly dispose of this item. Luckily, there is a Panera Bread close in proximity. The lovely team there blessed me with an eatable bowl of amazing French Onion Soup; like your Grams use to make, with so much joy and comfort in each bite. Save you money an go straight to Panera or make the trip...
Read moreOkay so this is crazy I'm a customer that Gave this location 3 chance and now and the stuff has came messed up ever time and now they got my whole apartment building address blocked. This is gone on to long. Not to mention the driver laying hands on me twice. Shoving me out of the way on my work place to come in side when being greeted. The mangers and both Marriemont and Milford are rude and very unacceptable. The service I have gotten is very unacceptable. The food was ever bad and under cooked. This issue was never handled. In fact they blocked my address so I couldn't use my credits. The manger refused to bring out the right Oder to replace the ones messed up. I have grown up with this place my whole live and have never received this type or service or food for any of the restaurants before. VERY POOR AND...
