Lovely restaurant in Mariemont Square, right across from the Mariemont Inn. Service was excellent, and the restaurant is very nice. They have lovely outdoor patio seating in the front of the restaurant. Our server noticed we had kids with us and brought out bread early which was very thoughtful. The food was generally tasty but seemed overpriced for what you get. For example, the shrimp tempura is delicious but it's $20 for three pieces of shrimp. The mussels are a larger portion and are delicious. The calamari appetizer is also very good. I had the burger which was $17 for a just okay burger. Truffle fries were good though, for an upgraded price. My wife had the short rib special which was tasty but kind of a small portion for $43. The overall dining experience was really nice, mostly because of the great service. The food is pretty good. I think you're just paying a premium for the location.

We have been coming to Quarter Bistro for years. The food quality is stable, and the service is excellent (we do not use the bar area). We celebrated my husband's birthday there on Thursday but did not announce that on our reservation. We had a very good time. They no longer have the chicken dish on the menu, which is good because it was too salty and dry for my taste. We had steak, burger, and steak frites. Flatbread and mussels are delicious, and we love tuna tartar. I still have to ask for light salt for my dishes, but it is just for my taste. I think the restaurant would benefit greatly if they worked on the variety of their food more often. Seasonal changes are good, and regular clients like to try new menu items every few months. It is a nice place, a perfect location; I love their logs outside this time of the season.

We come here relatively regularly and love the European charm. It was hot out so we were the only one's outside as the rest of Cincinnati was crammed in the air conditioning on a Friday night. All was awesome as usual, they don't fail. The bees and mosquitoes can be a nuisance to be weary of that. The "bean"loaf was just meh. The glaze was what can only be described as "ketchup jam" and loaf was a bit bland. Swordfish was delicious with a good sweet kick glaze. A tad pricey for qty but you're here for the experience, not just the sustenance. Great service from Leia and a great experience like always!

First things first, the Quarter Bistro has excellent food. We loved our dinner and appreciated the wine list, especially the half-bottle options since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary on a weeknight. I had the Gerber Chicken and my wife had the Shrimp & Bay Scallop Angel Hair. Both were excellent given our personal preferences. The plating was very nice as well. We also opted for the margherita flatbread, it was nice and crisp with good cuts of tomato and delicious mozzarella. We opted for a half-bottle of malbec which we found to have a great taste and a nice level of spice to it. Though we didn't say for dessert, the Graeter's around the corner proved too tempting, I now wish we had. Second, the ambiance was a bit strange at first. The interior dinning area where we sat had a strange reminiscence to the 'honey moon' suite you typically see in movies. Reds, mirrors, and dark wood. This is, of course, not a negative. It certainly had a romantic vibe and felt like a special occasion. We sat in a two person corner booth and so were seated next to each other rather than across; it was great. Finally, the service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Side note: had it not been a muggy/hot day in Cincinnati, we would definitely have sat on the patio. They have a wonderful location on the square and have the added date-night benefit of being attached to the movie theater. I would certainly recommend Quarter Bistro to anyone looking for a romantic night out (with a movie?) and anyone looking for a spot to celebrate an anniversary. We'll definitely...

To sum up my experience I reserved for 2 on valentine's day, try something different it looked and sounded good by photos and reviews online. Once I was sat I was handed a menu with 4 main courses to choose from not the menu posted. Because they decided on all night to limit the menu to do it on valentine's so looking at the menu my date would not eat 85% of what was listed. I was upset 5:30 on valentine's and we were just handed nothing I saw online. We were denied the options for regular menu but we had the choice to sit at the bar and order ala carte from the menu they had for the night ( the same $80 for each person dissapoint of a menu ) so I was happy to hear that from the waiter who smelled like a cigarette factory. So call ahead and make sure what you are looking forward to is on the menu that night and they are not deciding to switch it up that night. As I was told by the cigarette factory they tend to do that on holidays. Thank you for letting me know when I reserved my table. My experience was terrible and I'll choose not to go back but maybe it was another day I would go for it but I wouldn't spend a...

We just had to share a huge thank you to Quarter Bistro for making our son’s night so special!

Our 17-year-old son took his girlfriend there for homecoming dinner on Saturday. We had told him to make sure he was ready — check prices, reservations, have enough to tip, the whole parent talk. He chose Quarter Bistro because it’s a place they always drive past, and it felt special to them even though they’d never been.

He came home absolutely glowing! He said the food was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect — even if, in his words, it was “all older people” 😂. The best part? The manager came out, told them how much he loved seeing young couples there, and took care of their bill.

That kindness meant the world to him — and to us as parents. Thank you so much to the staff and management for such a thoughtful gesture. It made their night unforgettable. ❤️ We’ll definitely be visiting...
