On our way back to Maryland from a trip to Pittsburgh, we stumbled upon a true gem in Marietta, PA—River Trail Brewing. This experience was one for the books, with everything from the food to the service exceeding our expectations. The atmosphere at River Trail Brewing is welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for families and pets. We were fortunate to have Kat as our server; she made our visit exceptional. From the moment we sat down, Kat was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She handed our daughter a box of chalk and encouraged her to draw anywhere, instantly making her feel at home and entertained her throughout our meal. Kat didn’t forget about our furry friend either; she brought our dog a big bowl of water, showing that this place is as dog-friendly as it is family-friendly. Now, onto the food—simply put, the wings were out of this world. We tried four flavors: PB&J, Peanut Butter with Bacon & Jalapeno, Old Bay, and Garlic Parmesan. Each flavor was uniquely delicious, but the Peanut Butter with Bacon & Jalapeno really stood out as a new favorite. These were, without a doubt, the best wings I have ever had. The perfect blend of flavors, tender meat, and crispy skin made every bite memorable. River Trail Brewing did not disappoint with its beer selection. Its selection was diverse, catering to all tastes, from hoppy IPAs to smooth lagers. Each beer complemented our meal perfectly, adding to the overall experience. Living only 90 minutes away, we will definitely be back, not just for the amazing wings and beer but to see Kat, who made our visit so special. River Trail Brewing is now a must-visit on our list!

We sat outside to listen to the live music and we sat in direct sunlight. The table layout was awful so many tables were suffering from the heat unnecessarily. The beers were okay, but nothing special. Mybissue was the beer was VERY warm. Its clear their draft system cant keep ip with the heat outside. Our server was fine, but new. She suggested the peach burger but never tried it herself. Im still sitting here waiting for my food so i can't even tell you if its good! The kitchen moves at a snails pace too... we got mashed potato balls as an app which are advertised as "idaho potatos" whos is a sneaky was of saying "Idaho brand INSTANT POTATO". The balls were just not good. Thick and tasteless. Had i known they were instant i would never have ordered them. Furthermore, the BUGS out crazy. Getting bombarded by mayflies constantly isnt fun. We wont be back. UPDATE: the peach burger was absolute trash. It had what appeared to just be canned peach chunks thrown onto the messy burger that werent cooked how i would have expected them to be. We ordered it medium and that thing was a HOCKEY PUCK of dry, burnt, bitter meat. Never again.

Loved this spot. I'll definitely be going back here. Definitely eat outside if the weather permits; they have a great patio / outside dining area with covered and sun-exppsed seating, so take you r pick. There is also a full bar out back, and they open a second outdoor bar at the back of the venue during live music shows. Cornhole/"bags" are set up for entertainment, and there is a fire pit area, too. 🍔🌯🍟 I had the peanut butter burger based on another customer's recommendation, and I thought it was incredible (comes with Cheddar, jalapeños, and bacon). . Even the humble chicken Ceasar wrap was delicious. . 🍺🍻🍺 Pro tip: Join the RTB mug club and get 22 oz beers for the price of a 16 oz. . I learned from frequent visitors that this a preferred establishment since they source their ingredients locally (even things like the chicken wings), not a large wholesale outfit like sysco foods. . I'm excited to come back here for good eats and another great time 🙌👌🔥

I recently visited your restaurant with high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal based on their online menu and having dine in there in the past. However, my experience left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. It pains me to say that the food, although tasty, was overshadowed by the inconsistencies in their menu and the abysmal service I received.

First and foremost, the online menu and the actual dine-in menu were completely different. As someone who carefully reviewed the online menu beforehand as I am a very picky eater and have allergies/ dietary issues. I was excited to try their renowned carb Mac and Cheese. To my dismay, when it arrived it had bacon on it as the online menu does not say it had bacon on it. I my fault did not read the dine in menu. It's incredibly frustrating to have your expectations shattered due to a lack of consistency between their online presence and the reality of what they offer.

To make matters worse, the service I received from our server, Emily T, was extremely disappointing. Throughout our visit, Emily seemed disinterested and unattentive. When I raised my concerns about the menu discrepancy and requested to speak to the manager, Emily assured me that she would call them over. However, despite patiently waiting, no manager ever appeared at our table. The lack of response from the management team only further emphasized the lackluster service we experienced.

However, what truly left a sour taste in my mouth was overhearing Emily T discussing our party with another table, whom she seemed to be familiar with. It was evident that she was making disparaging remarks about us, which not only demonstrated a lack of professionalism but also created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. However, the most alarming incident occurred when it was time to settle the bill. Emily took my payment card and inexplicably brought it back to the table she was familiar with, creating a concerning breach of privacy and security.

This act is not only unprofessional but also raises significant concerns about the integrity of the establishment's handling of customers' personal information. Mishandling a payment card in this manner can potentially expose customers to identity theft and financial fraud. As a customer, I expect my sensitive information to be handled with the utmost care and professionalism, which unfortunately was not the case during my visit.

In conclusion, my visit to your restaurant was marred by the inconsistency between their online and dine-in menus, as well as the unimpressive service provided by Emily T and the absent management team. While the food was indeed enjoyable, these issues significantly impacted my dining experience, ultimately overshadowing any positives. I sincerely hope that the restaurant takes note of these concerns and takes appropriate steps to rectify these discrepancies and improve their...

JUST AWFUL!!!! Ate here a year ago and absolutely loved the food here. What a difference a year can make. I don't know if they are under new management or what. The cocktails were awful!!! Ordered the Lime and Cranberry Margarita which was supposed to be in a salt rimmed glass according to the menu. The drink came in a regular drinking glass, no salt on the rim and tasted like pure lime juice. It was so sour you could barely drink it. Ordered the salmon dish with beans & rice and broccoli. The salmon was so dried out and really had no flavor. The rice and beans tasted like something they would serve in a hospital. It was almost like runny rice pudding with black beans on top and really no flavor. I don't know what kind of seasoning they put on the broccoli, but it had extremely too much pepper in it. My husband ordered the fried shrimp and it was fried much too long. The shrimp was dried out and the coating was so hard and burnt that it was hard to chew into. The fries tasted like they were sitting in oil for hours. The prices are not cheap here either. Our bill was almost $100 and the food wasn't worth $20.00. Needless to say we will not be going back anytime soon. I wouldn't even give this 1 star, but I had to give in 1 star to post this review. Server was friendly, but didn't provide good service. Did not provide us with silverware, we had to go get it ourselves. Had to ask another server if we could...
