Behold this stinking monument to everything wrong with the fast food industry. The only things this Taco Bell guarantees are eternity waits in line (even with no one in front of you), sloppily slapped together food, disgusting food by fast food standards, and an equally disgusting interior to match. Probably the only high health score I flat out don't believe. Been going here for 2 years now, and today just broke me. Witness the pic of that huge chunk of inedible iceberg lettuce stem I got in my SOFT TACO today. And my burrito in the same box had a pound of refried beans, little meat, a tub of sour cream, and COLD LIQUID CHEESE. It was like biting into a giant cold loogie. Guys, I cant make this stuff up. Just read other reviews. Everything I described to this point happens all the time like clockwork. They say a broken clock is right twice a day, but in this Taco Bell's case the clock has been ripped out the wall and mercilessly smashed to bits by mass incompetence from the top down, and if any hands remain on the clock, things are right twice a day: When the doors are locked for closing and while they're locked before opening.
In some hopeless, masochistic way I somehow keep finding myself back here hoping, uselessly, that they've improved, but each time I pull up to the microphone and window, the staff looks like headless chickens scrambling and confused. The vast majority of the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of management. Management is pathetic and constantly rotating new employees with seemingly no sense of direction, urgency, or sense of self-improvement. It doesnt take fast food industry experience to see these glaring issues. Just come here yourself and observe.
There's a Hardees in the same lot of this Taco Bell yet it receives significantly less traffic but their food (by fast food standards) is significantly better. A travesty. Go there, to Hardees. I would've today but I didn't bother refunding my Taco Bell because I didn't want to wait 15 minutes in line, so I took it like a champ and the result is my writing this long winded review. Because it broke me.
If I were a petty millionaire I'd buy this Taco Bell location just to shut them down. This town deserves better from its Taco Bells, and Taco Bell HQ needs to know this location is nothing but a stain...
Read moreThey need staff help seriously. It should be no reason why they are so short staffed. From the outside looking in the GM and AGM are working their staff overtime. They look like they struggling trying too keep up with the drive thru, front counter, KFC, and Taco Bell. You have one shift manager... 2 guys in back and one chick on front counter and bagging her own stuff on top of running the register. The shift manager trying run drive thru and help front counter and back. Then the two boys in back they are teens not grown people. What really make you think they have a sense of urgency or very fast pace as such of an employee with experience. There should be no reason your door say open at 1030am but its 1145 almost lunch and your doors are open. However, the manager states we aren't open yet. Which side did I want food from? Bc only one side is open right now. That was KFC. I came in the lights are still off and I waited at a table until the manager was finished with her cigarette and phone call. She said she would ring me up. Standing outside the front dining room door holding it open. Very generous but very unprofessional on her part. Cigarette and on the phone at the same time. I come here and there is NEVER any grilled chicken. The last cashier stated the machine was broken for the grill. So is there a reason your store has a KFC grill chicken sign in the window outside. Right before hitting the front door or the Drive thru. That's false advertising and if your not going to sell Grill chicken here. Then take your sign down. If your not going to get your Grill chicken machine fixed. Then take the sign down its that simple. However, don't advertise something your KFC is not or willing too serve. Work on getting more staff in so that you can turn those ticket times down. Your whole front screen was filled with orders. And not a lot of people in the dining room. As well as teaching your staff about a sense of urgency. We don't wait on them and their time of speed. They should accommodate the guest time of speed. Because most people are on lunch or on...
Read moreAfter going to taco bell the last time i had to wait 30 minutes in the drive-thru for my "fast food", then they missed half my order, but got all of my fiance's and sons. When I called the manager he was very apologetic, he offered to let me come back up, or visit again in the next couple days to get my replacement items.
I went back up a couple days later, with my receipt and the managers name and time I called. I had to stand at the front counter for 15 minutes while people tried to look busy, but avoided coming to take my order.
I explained the situation, and was then treated to skepticism as if I have nothing better to do but carry around receipts with real people names on them all to get s free chicken gordita and chicken quesadilla. After a few minutes of deliberation in front of me someone decided to just go ahead and make my food. After a little over 20 minutes I walked out with my bag.
Got to my car and checked my food, they got it wrong again! Gave a me beef gordita. So i went next door where the new del taco had opened a few days before, ordered s taco to try them out. And haven't been back to this poorly run taco bell since.
I just hope del taco doesn't suffer the same bad-employee fate that taco bell, Wendy's IHOP, McDonalds and burger king in this...
