last night My friend and I went into the store at closing time , there where a staff of three at the store , after making my purchase we left out , about a mile or so down the street, at The next Store i stopped at a realized I had forgot my card on the card in machine at the front counter at Minks. After continuously calling,no one answered the store phone. I had a bad feeling so I put a freeze on my credit card. This morning I woke up to a charge at Minks Package and when i called they said they could not find my credit card amongst their lost and found and was rude about it . When I went to the store this morning they managers tried to be rude but i wasn’t worried at all about them .. when presented the evidence they got real defensive. Now am taking legal actions against them and hopefully we can find out who used tried the commit this criminal offense so i press charges against them and I will not stop. i feel sorry for the people who have lost thier credit or debit cards here becuase these people are dishonest ,no integrity having thieves and liars.. and to think the employees watched us walk out and not stop me to remind me is “Piss poor Morally” I wish that I could upload the evidence here so that everyone can see.... I will never shop at this place again......
Read moreThis location has a good supply of product and also has a humidor for cigars, but I often feel a tad bit uneasy for some reason when I go here. While the staff is polite they don't really seem that personable. It seems more like everybody is just there to a job and take money. Hard to explain.
A few years back I asked if they could order my favorite cigar that wasn't in their humidor. They told me yes. I checked back weekly and was told it's on order. It's coming. 6 months later, they still don't have it. That was about 2 years ago. I went there the other day, and they still don't have it.
Here's my thing. If you weren't going to order or couldn't get it, just say that. For 6 months I was lead on, repeatedly told that it was ordered, and it wasn't.
I asked their competitor (Elite Package store), down the road and they had it in within about 10 days. A much smaller store but much more welcoming in my opinion. For that reason and the unwelcoming feeling I ALWAYS GOT, I decided to take my business elsewhere. The smaller store says it's one of their best selling cigars, and thanks me all the time for requesting it. Only able to give Mint Package store a 2 star rating. The cigar is El Rey Del Mundo...
Read moreRecently went here to purchase a bottle and a cigar. Left and unwrapped the cigar and it was as dry as a California forest in the summer. I immediately went back into the store and demonstrated how dry the cigar was and to my surprise was told that since I stepped out of the store it was nothing that that they could do. People the humidifier had to have been off for at least 2 or 3 months. I am certain that every cigar in there is ruined. Rather than causing trouble I simply told them that they need to check.their humidifier and left..never to return again. Customer service should not end just because the consumer had to make a u turn into your store and inform you of your dried out cigars. I wish I didn't toss the stick so that...
