Ruby Tuesday's location at 2435 Delk Rd, Marietta GA Sunday Dinner, 6pm on March 30th, 2025

I know seeing a 1 star rating, then the higher ratings below don't make much sense, but let me explain.

Joe, our server was excellent. Listed the specials, saw my ears perk up on the Long Island Ice Tea special and got me to order it. Everything about Joe was great, but that is where great stopped.

Minor note, returned the Long Island Ice Tea. Was made with half a glass of lemonade, it is supposed to be made with 1 oz of lemon juice, it was horrible.

Our order was delivered, my Smokehouse Cheeseburger was pretty good, but my wife's Mushroom Swiss Smashburger came without mushrooms, so just a Swiss burger. Joe said the kitchen did not tell him they were out of mushrooms till he picked up the order. Joe offered to buy us a side or something out of his own money, as it seems he knew management would not make it right, and he was correct. My wife asked for half off a desert, but he was only able to give a side of veggies. I asked to speak to a manager. In the time it took us to eat our meal and get ready to go a manager had not shown up. We would have been able to leave if the check was correct, but it had to be fixed. While Joe was getting it fixed I used the restroom, that smelled like an open sewer.

Made my way back to the table and the manager was explaining to my wife the receipt, as our coupon had been erased due to comping the veggies, so she just comped the burger (a $3 difference due to the coupon).

Not once did the manager ever utter the words, "I'm sorry", or "I apologize", it was all excuses. "I'm training a new employee" (they were dead, as is often the case), "It was on the board that we were out of mushrooms" (not sure I believe this, but if this was on the board in the kitchen, why did the kitchen staff make a mushroom Swiss burger without mushrooms?) I mentioned the bathrooms smelling like an open sewer and it went right to, "That's not our fault, Cobb water has an issue and its all up and down Delk".

I asked Joe to get me the General Managers number. He said he did not know it and would have to ask the manager for it. She of course did NOT give it to Joe (which honestly I did not expect her to give it.) I told him I wanted the GM as if I spoke to any other manager I thought they would cover for the Manager on Duty and it would never get to the GM, so I hope he reads this.

We had given up on that location due to their sparce salad bar (which is a shame as it used to be good), and lack luster food. The only reason we came is a friend said the burgers were great, so we wanted to give it a chance. Must just be his location, as mine was "OK" and my wife's was a McDouble with Swiss for what would have been $14 without our coupon.

To summarize: Joe our server was GREAT. Salad bar was sparce, bathrooms smelled like an open sewer, server had to offer that HE would pay for an app or side as he knew management would NOT make it better. There is no way to give a rating to the manager and her lack of management, so that is why its a 1 star rating.

It is unlikely we will go again, even though they do have some good sounding specials we originally said we were eager to try.

When management won't backup their staff, it is not worth going.

Snippit of the receipt uploaded for management so they know this was a real customer and...

I am going to tell you about The rudest encounter I had with the nastiest woman. My seven-year-old and I were returning to the salad bar to refill our plates. I put lettuce on my plate and as my daughter was in the middle of putting lettuce on her plate, this woman stops us and says “you can’t use the same plate” so we both froze and she said “you have to get new plates.” I guess my daughter was still mid-scoop of putting lettuce on her plate, and put it back in the salad bowl. At first, I thought she was just returning the tongs to the bowl but after the women’s wildly unnecessary reaction and response, I realized that the lettuce must’ve touched my daughter’s plate first. Her tone was also super aggressive when she approached us, and that’s why my daughter did what she did, because she thought she was in trouble, so she immediately put the tongs back. This lady was visibly angry, was practically biting her lips to keep from going off, then says “mannnn…..” while shaking her head, like she wanted to say much worse. I looked at her and said “we didn’t know, and you don’t have to be rude. She’s only seven.” And she goes “but you’re not” . And I said “im not what?” “you’re not seven, you sat there and watched her do it.” First of all, I’m not psychic, I had no idea that she was about to put lettuce back into the lettuce bowl, and I also didn't realize the tongs had lettuce because I glanced down at the last second. Also, it happened within a matter of seconds. How would I even have time to react? Then when I went to her manager, this nasty disgruntled old woman proceeds to go off on ME To the point where they had to hold her back and tell her to leave the area! Who hired this angry hateful monster And why is she so nasty towards children. And best part, this was on...

Worst service I have ever encountered at a Ruby Tuesday restaurant.

We never got the appetizer we ordered, despite that it took slightly over an hour from the point we ordered until the entrees arrived. I did consider ordering the salad bar as my entree but when seeing the that most of the items at the bar were either empty or a general mess I avoided it. we seldom saw our waiter to the point two of three people at the table were never able to get refills on their drinks. unfortunately, even though we should have taken it as a sign and skipped dessert our child was promised a dessert so we attempted to order dessert to find out after one of the desserts has arrived ( a brownie sunday which involves what should be a warm brownie and a frozen ice cream.) and was at least from a visual standpoint put together with no care that the other (a Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet) could not be made as they supposedly did not have the cookies or dough. At the point we attempted to cancel the dessert and they changed their mind saying they had cookies and upon me asking about the existing sunday that would die from sitting out she said they would just put the whole thing in the freezer and serve it later. (do you like frozen brownie ?) considering this response and the little care that was used to make the one dessert in the first place we canceled deserts at that point. the check arrived which was incorrect as an extra drink was charged.

it was not bust during the time we were there as there were only a few table besides ours. there were multiple other waiters present in the restaurant other than our waiter and they were not busy so despite the fact i have worked in restaurants for over twenty years I can not see an excuse...

My boyfriend and I recently visited Ruby Tuesday for lunch, hoping for a pleasant and relaxed experience. Unfortunately, the service fell significantly short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were met with a "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign at the entrance. Despite the restaurant being virtually empty, with no other patrons in sight, we waited several minutes before deciding to seat ourselves at the bar, which was also deserted. Our interaction with the bartender was confusing and frustrating. We inquired about the 2 for $25 special, but she seemed to struggle to understand our simple request. She immediately began asking about burger choices and then launched into a discussion of other specials, even though we had clearly indicated our preference. There was a noticeable lack of communication, and frankly, she came across as somewhat rude. The appetizer was delivered by the bartender, who then proceeded to sit in a booth with her coworkers, completely ignoring us. Another employee brought our burgers, and we finished our meal before the bartender returned to check on us. As someone with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I was appalled. Regardless of how busy or slow a restaurant is, checking on customers, especially after food is served, is a basic expectation. While the food itself was delicious, the poor service overshadowed the positive aspect of the meal. The bartender's lack of attentiveness, communication skills, and general demeanor were unacceptable. It seemed she lacked the personality and professionalism required for a customer-facing role. Overall, I'm hesitant to recommend this Ruby Tuesday location based on our experience. While the kitchen delivered on taste, the service was a major letdown.

Came here because I hadn't been in years. Guess I won't be back. Not the worse in the world but definitely not good. First took a while to get greeted. Second I ordered the happy hour spinach dip, was charged full price. Ordered the happy hour drink was overcharged a dollar. The glass was ridiculously tall and the drink way too sweet and weak. The salad bar was cold which is good and stocked. The iceberg lettuce needed to be tossed. Brown spots. The ranch dressing was practically empty and even when I went for my second round it was empty. The biggest disappointment was the pasta salad. A few years ago they took it off and then put it back. It used to taste like my grandmother's. This has zero taste and the sauce they use, which should be the consistency of mayo was more like olive oil. The chips for the dip were horrible. You can see the oil sitting on top. They were stuck together and were soft. Server was ok she was walking around so I can't really blame her for the restaurant being understand. No one was running food so my food came out dead,. I asked them to refresh it for me and I heard the cooks complaining. Actually the food runner should have never have delivered it and had it refreshed before it left the kitchen. I use to like Ruby Tuesday's. The menu has nothing exciting on it. The food is ok. I got the shrimp pasta and the shrimp was so tiny. I'm not sure if it's the restaurants fault but you don't put tiny shrimp with a penne pasta. Watch a cooking show every now and then. At least the sauce was good, and the pasta was cooked al dented. Won't be back.. of well

I'm not sure if it's the restaurants fault but you don't put tiny shrimp with a penne pasta. Watch a cooking show every now and then. At least the sauce was good, and the pasta was cooked al dented. Won't be back.. of well
