By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Zaxbys. We ordered our food and the cashier was completely oblivious to the menu and you could tell he was not trained adequately. I got two children's drinks and asked the cashier for some lids because there were none at the drink station and she went out of her way to verify there were no lids at the drink station before just giving me a lid. After about 20 minutes of waiting for food a couple who had ordered after us went and asked what the long wait was for. The girl at the counter said they were "out of chicken" and walked away. I've worked in the food industry before and know that it takes about 12 minutes to get raw chicken completely cooked so I'm not sure why at 20 minutes we still did not have our food. We waited another 10 minutes and our food was finally ready. After 30 minutes of waiting on chicken to be cooked I expected my chicken to be fresh out of the frier - weird thing is, all of the chicken we ordered was cold. Felt like it had been sitting out a good minute. I also ordered the fried pickles. The pickles were crispy, but ice cold. I went to the front desk to ask for some hot pickles since I had waited so long for them and the girl rolled her eyes at me and just took the plate without saying a word. About 3 minutes later my pickles were ready and they had obviously just dumped my pickles back in the fryer - they were sitting in a bowl of greese and so soggy they were not edible. Read moreHorrible service the last 3 times we’ve gone here. Overall “I don’t want to be bothered” attitude. Wednesday I took my 5 yr old granddaughter to eat. We went to the bathroom and she said the toilet was “burning” i looked down and there was steam coming up from the water and I could feel the heat. I got her down and went to wash her hands and the sink water was burning hot. I went and told a worker and he said “yes, we know”. I said they need to put a sign up warning people. He said “ok” and went back to wiping down tables. So I went to the counter and told a lady (not a teenager) that they need to please put a sign in the bathroom so no one gets burned. She said “ok,sorry” and went back to the drivethru. Today we went to pick up a mobile order in the drive thru. A girl handed me the bags and said have a good day. I said one of them should have a drink i think, shouldn’t it? She said “i dont know, I didn’t bag it, but you can look”?? So i had to get the bags from the back seat to look at the receipts to show it had a drink. She could have looked at the screen. The lady behind her was smirking. Evidently they don't gives out free water unless you buy something. That's a garbage policy and really emphasizes just how greedy the owners of this place are. You own a Zaxby's in one of the highest traffic areas of Marietta, I know that place makes good money. You're so greedy that a cup of water is too much for your margins? I've never had an issue with the food, or the staff. But charging people for a small cup of water is ridiculous. I come in several times a week, I do a pick up order at the counter through the mobile app. I would say it's a fair statement to call me a regular (which is sad I know but I like fried chicken) I just looked through the app, I've gotten some sort of food there for 5 out of the last 10 days.
