Oha Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Marin City

Ordered the chicken combo plate to dine in. Inside the restaurant was icy cold because they keep the entrance door wide open. Asked the guy at the counter if I can use the restroom. He tells me 'No restroom, but you can use the one at Target'. Are you freaking kidding me? A restaurant that offers dining indoors, but no restroom available is absolutely ridiculous. The portions of the food are very big, but the quality was really missing. The chicken katsu was overcooked, very dry and the oil used for frying tasted slightly old. The bbq chicken was unbelievably stringy, really poor quality meat. Would I eat here again?...

Waited 30 mins for 2 orders of chicken katsu with beef and one order of the beef and chicken musubis. 7 people ordered maybe 10 mins after I put my order in and somehow they got their food before mine. This place used to be my favorite go to food. Now I’m disgusted how the quality has gone down drastically. The CHICKEN looked pink not even sure if it was cooked, and the beef just had a nasty rubbery/chemical taste to it that I’ve never tasted from this place. Delicious food but starting to notice a reduction in the amount of meat served. I hoped this wouldnt happen but it’s beginning. I’ll try a few more times but I hope they know, the customer pays attention and act accordingly

May 2025. Still problems. The portions are smaller than before. My 2 orders of bbq chicken to go used to take 5 or 6 minutes. The other day 4 staff took 20 minutes with only one other customer. All the staff are new, the original crew is all gone. The music they were playing wasn’t appropriate. These changes are not good. I hope they bring back the way...
