After hiking with companions at Muir Woods on Saturday, April 22, we decided to stop by a nearby Target for a stroll. From afar, this Target looks huge, but on the inside, it's actually smaller than other Target stores that I've been to. Nonetheless, it served its purpose since I was able to buy a journal and a bottle of pure aloe vera. My companions and I were here around noon on a Saturday and it wasn't as crowded, which was nice. My companions were fond of searching for the Nintendo Switch and were able to find 5 in stock at this Target, which is incredible because they're sold out everywhere else.
Everything was well-organized and clean. There is a unisex restroom with one toilet, so keep that in mind. A few registers were open. The entire building was air conditioned, so it's a great location if you want to stay cool from the oncoming warm and hot summers. Target in Marin City is located within a shopping center, which means plenty of parking.
If I were in the area again, I would definitely visit this...
Read moreNo inventory and terrible service. Was looking for a mouse that was compatible with my new Macbook. There was no one available to help in the technology department, so I had to flag down an associate (a blond woman wearing a vest and red shirt) from a neighboring Department. When I asked about options, she seemed very annoyed and just said this is what we have, and didn't offer any suggestions. None of their options were compatible with the new USB ports in the new Mac, which seemed odd since it's such a popular computer. When I ask to speak to someone more familiar with the technology and potential adapters, she said she would find someone, so I waited another 5 to 10 minutes, and she never returned. Terrible inventory, and bad service to boot, even though the store was not that crowded. I ended up ordering something on Amazon instead. And the retailers wonder why Amazon is taking...
Read moreWas thrilled this opened up for S. Marin and so I don’t have to drive up to San Rafael. But, as you’ve read from the other reviews; small, poorly stocked, I think they should have blown off groceries and used the space for housewares. A CVS is in the same complex and there appears an awful lot of crossover and ‘redundancy’ to support both stores. In fact, you might find something you’re looking for at CVS rather than this Target. The help is nice enough but not particularly sharp. About the level of help of a chain grocery store. As with so much of S. Marin, near banker’s hours, closes at 10 PM, 11 PM on Saturday...Ooooo, party on !
Don’t know if the future is hopeful for them. Not only is CVS there, but some of these stores haven’t had much luck in this plaza. Well known chains Best Buy and Burger...
