I am unfamiliar with Brazilian Steakhouses like this, so I don't have a frame of reference for comparison. The food was, mostly, delicious, and the endless stream of meat had a certain wow factor that is not something I had ever experienced before. However, it quickly became apparent that there were a few tricks being pulled on us and everyone here. Things like the bacon wrapped chicken breast, bottom sirloin, picanha, spicy picanha, pork, and sausage were brought by our table multiple times each. However not once did we see beef ribs or shrimp brought out. We kept an eye on all the servers, but never saw either. Eventually we asked specifically for those two. We then waited a long time for the beef ribs, which were brought out from the back specifically for us. Turns out, they obviously hadn't been cooking low and slow in the back waiting for us, but had been hastily broiled shortly before being brought out. What we got was medium rare at best and so tough and stringy due to the improper cooking method that it was inedible. Finally the shrimp came out, after about a 15 minute wait, again only being brought out because we asked for it specifically, and only being brought to our table. The shrimp was good, but it's weird it was never brought out organically. We also paid extra for the "wagyu" steak option. I asked a few times and a few different servers if it was actually imported Japanese wagyu because the price seemed too good to be true. When they brought it out it was immediately apparent it wasn't Japanese wagyu. The meat is brought out raw and cooked on a salt block. Not only was the amount of meat way too much to be real Japanese wagyu, it was also way to dark red, had none of the signature marbling, and was indistinguishable from the prime grade New York I get at Costco. Again, for the price, not terrible, but I wish they would have been honest about what we were actually getting. The desserts were good and the salad bar had an excellent variety of all...
Read moreCame in for dinner on Decemeber 25th, Christmas. The dining room was quite a mess. Employees were running around almost causing accidents (knife almost running into a child). In addition, the meat was either extra well done or raw. Our night started at a table that see-sawed whenever anyone put a glass or plate down. We were then moved to another table and began our experience. No one greeted us or explained the menu however, we were familiar with the style. They also did not explain the style to the table next to us and they used the green/red card as a coaster instead of it intended use. I ordered a caipirinha and it had a curly noticable hair in it. I quickly sent it back to the chagrin of the manager "attending" us. It was noticeable that the staff was incapable of managing a busy night and it reflected in the quaility of service and food. My fiance ordered a diet coke and a backwaiter was running around the restaurant asking everyone what table had the diet coke and no one could help him so he circled around multiple times. There was also an incident where a man started choking, coughed up his chewed food/spit on to the floor and no one came to help or clean up. Staff simply left some napkins and let the man clean it himself. About 8 to 10 minutes later someone finally came by to sanitize the area. I also notcied the host had no seating system. She simply popped her head up looked for a table and sat guests. This made things worse because staff was incapable of managing the tables they had, let alone new ones. She should have known to cap reservations or make guests wait to be seated until everyone caught up on their tables. Overall an exceptionally awful experience. On the brightside, the grilled pineapple...
Read moreI heard about this new restaurant opened up from a coworker. He told he me it is a Brazilian Steakhouse that served sushi 🍣. Two things that sounded wonderful together. Don't forget to make reservations. The restaurant just had its grand opening. Place will be busy. Me & the GF took a trip across the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge to check this place.
1st impression of place felt like the building did not match the upscale decor and furniture. The decor & furniture inside/outside are really nice. Entrance door is grand. You are 1st greeted by a giant copper bull! The staffing is great and attentive. Ambiance is nice & cozy. The only thing I thought is funny is the samurai sword on top of the salad/sushi bar.
Ok let's dig into the food. The Brazilian meats is of course is delicious and salty like other Brazilian Steakhouses. They served grilled pineapple like others which is my favorite. Except this one tasted better. They add a dash of cinnamon and something else which rocked my taste buds YUMMY! The best! I notice they served sauces for the meats, thats different compared to other Brazilian Steakhouses. That's a plus for me. Sushi options is lacking and disappointing. The sashimi was it's only delicious part. The rest of the sushi is not impressive. That's why I gave it a 4 🌟. For the price & drive to get there made a difference in opinion. Experience is great which I...
