Decent facility. Lots of issues. I have not been to any dog park that has so many incidents of aggression, attacks and fighting. If you want to truly raise a good dog, do not make this park your primary / exclusive destination. My observation has been that many, many owners appreciate the restrictions of this park being one of the only parks that's completely fenced. In addition to this they are not actively involved in the guidance and direction in the development of the dog. Therefore the dog is exposed to and can even acquire really bad behaviors from exposure to the more established visitors. Of course this is not the dog's fault - the number of un-involved, lazy, hypocritical owners in denial about their dogs is astonishing. Bottom line - avoid this park - and that's more the people allowing really bad behaviors...

The place is huge, and includes a section for small dogs. There's plenty of parking. It's easy to walk to from just about anywhere in Sausalito. The people that use it take great pride in keeping it clean thank you. There's always fresh water the the dogs. An ample supply of tennis balls, rackets and tossers. Plenty of benches and shade for the two legged set.

The reason why I can’t give 5 starts it’s because this park always cuts my dogs paws, every single time my dog gets out of that park with cuts on his paws or legs, he even slice in two his carpal pad mor then once’s and then he is limping for days and in pain.
