Genova’s pizza — Restaurant in Marion

I moved to Marion two years ago. Let me start out by saying, any place that puts pizza sauce on a ham and cheese sub without being asked should be fined lol. With this being said, one of the first things I did was order my fiance and I a sub. I have had East of Chicago subs from Marysville, Kenton (now closed), and other cities. Their subs are usually one of the best out there (my opinion of course), so I was excited to see Marion has an East of Chicago. Welp that was a disgusting experience from the pizza to the subs. But that's OK, or at least I thought, because I'm from Marysville where they have a Tubby's Pizza shop, again one of my favorites and I learned Marion also has one! Welp, once again we were very let down. Lots of people recommended Paynes and OK Cafe. Both were at least better than East of Chicago and Tubby's. However, nothing to write home about and I have had much better. Then I FINALLY found my beloved Genova's! I am addicted to their chicken bacon sub and ham and cheese sub! Everything they make is delicious! They have two very loyal customers! Their service is fast and friendly. Their prices are fair. If you haven't had a sub from them, get one and thank me later! We order from here at least once a week (sometimes more 🤫). They know what they are doing! PLEASE never go out...

I've ordered from pretty much every pizza delivery place in Marion. Genova's delivery time is slightly longer than average (in the ballpark of an hour), but the quality of their food is well-worth the wait. Their fold overs and Stromboli is the best in town and their prices are surprisingly reasonable when compared with other pizza places in the area.

My one grievance has nothing to do with the food itself. Or even the delivery time. I don't carry cash on me and usually tip on the receipt, so I was sad to see that when I went to sign, there wasn't any place to offer a tip. I'm aware that Genova's is new to the delivery game and that tipping on a credit card comes with a few costs, but it's just good manners to offer your drivers the ability to be able to tip via credit card (cash is a vanished commodity). Please fix this error ASAP. It's a real bummer not to be able to tip a friendly delivery guy, who was an excellent sport about my inability tip him.

Very sad I've been ordering from here for 3 years never had a problem until now. Received a jalapeno and pepperoni pizza roll tonight burnt to the point there was no sauce it was literally cooked out. When I called I was told they would remake it and send it out because they didnt believe that because they claimed they seen it before it was sent out and it was fine.... clearly they did not look at this otherwise they would have seen it was burnt and slit open and I didnt have another hour to wait because I have work in the morning. I dont recommend a place that tries to make me out to be a liar. I know there are some people that do this to get free things but I take it as you called me a lair when you lied claiming you seen this poor producted you sent out yet tell me you need to have it back because it wasnt what I claimed.
