MEGA MOO ICE CREEM & Hunt Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in Marion

After righting my review about mega moo this is what the owner says!! Keep in mind I called and asked for a manager to explain what happened and she told me she hadnt had anyone else complain.. I never gave a name or numbe to never asked for anything I simply said I was just telling I and hang up,,, I have a rite to state my review it was bad the pizza was bad and my 2 kids and I got very sick!! My oldest couldn't even make it to the bathroom she cried in my arms all night!!! Clearly this buesness can't handle a bad review bc he blantinly lied bc iv never sopoken to this man and he would've never known who I was to have contacted me.. But really just a sorry would have been nice but no not even that I never asked for anything from these people but I promise you I'll never order here again!!! [I called you so many times lady and you never answered or never called back I've been over backwards trying to reach out to you. we did over 100 pizzas that night, you were the only one that complained. the health dept. came & gave us an inspection the very next day & we passed with flying colors like we always do & have for ten years. Did you know what food poisoning can take up to 72 hours to get sick so it could have been anything you people 843 prior days that made you sick but I guarantee you it was nothing from here!!!

Edmund offer still stands as I told you countless times to tell you if you want to come up here at any given time let me know I'll give you a tour of this place and how clean it is just let me know if you would like to come visit and I'll give you free stuff...

It took 10 minutes just to give the guy at the window our order. It felt like we were inconveniencing him. At one point while we were ordering, he just randomly walked away from the window for a minute without a word. We ordered 2 ice creams, 3 sandwiches, and chicken chunks. That was the whole order. They gave us the ice cream and sandwiches, then asked us to pull around front, saying that they would bring the chicken chunks out to us.

We pulled around and sat there for 15 minutes, by which point the ice cream had melted. I finally went to the window to ask about the wings and I was told it would be another 1-3 minutes, so we're talking nearly 20 minutes now. When they finally brought the wings out, I asked if they would be willing to remake the melted ice cream (a sundae and a cone) due to the unexpectedly long wait. They said no. No explanation, no empathy, absolutely 0 customer service, just simply, "No, I don't think we can do that." I considered asking for a manager, but after quickly scanning the kitchen, it didn't appear that there was anybody over 18 in the building, so I figured it was a waste of time.

The chicken chunks that we waited 20 minutes for were about the size of grapes. The chicken sandwiches were full of large pieces of dark meat. The hot dog in the coney was gray. Everything was cold with the ironic exception of the ice cream which I can't comment on, because by the time we got to eat it, it was mostly liquid.

I have literally nothing positive to say about this place. I would have been better off throwing $35 into the trash. It was my first and last experience here. It was our third choice anyway, since The JerZee and Dairy Queen were...

So while I usually am a big fan of the mega moo I cannot believe what I was served/countered the last 2 days. Thursday an older guy served me what was the worst 2 Taco pockets I've ever had there. The meat could NOT have been toco meat. It was as dry and pieces as tiny and crumbled as I've ever seen or tasted my god was it horrible. He put NO cheese and no sour cream. It was literally chips and weird looking/tasting meat. That's it! I tried to call to get my first ever replacement request from there heard but no one ever answered the phone. I called 3-4 times so finally I gave up. I walk right now as my vehicle is out of service atm so I didn't wanna walk half way across town again. I decided when I go get my 2 Taco pockets the next day that I would get it replaced and get 4 all together. I'm serious I loved them that much I would gladly do that. Well Friday I go and there was a blondish younger girl but I felt like she was annoyed as soon as I started speaking so I just said it's whatever and left the wall up window. I would like the two Taco pockets that I paid for on Thursday 5/15/25...
