This Russian restaurant was open about 30 years ago in the same place as now Edelweiss and was called Russian Dream. The place was great! The food and service was outstanding!!!!
Several years later the place was sold and new owners named it Pomegranate. The quality of this restaurant still was excellent.
Recently (I believe in 2023) this restaurant was sold again and names Edelweiss by the new owner. I don't know what happened, but quality and quantity of ordered food slipped down. I was told that this restaurant became Ukrainian. Service became horrible. You need to catch the waiters by the kitchen, if you need something. Singers use only Ukrainian songs from 1960s.
Overall quality is not up to par with other Russian restaurants.

Screaming kids running all over, pushing balloons and literally running around our table. Owner did nothing. Other parents did nothing. Then they started live music that was so loud you could not have any conversations whatsoever. When saxophone started playing it was so loud we had to step outside. Painful loud. Food was good, service was prompt, but the place has an identity crisis. Are they a restaurant? Are they a club? You can't do both in a room...

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a charming rustic decor that made it feel instantly welcoming. The service was exceptional—our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Overall, Edelweiss Restaurant exceeded expectations in every way.
