Total hidden gem. Great coffee (even the drip stuff) and desserts - especially the cake. And of course, the dumplings are wonderful. The spicy sauce isn't harsh.

I prefer the boiled dumplings as I found the container the fried ones were in didn't keep them crispy so they became too chewy (however this could certainly be because I left them alone for awhile before opening them up). Maybe a vented lid?

The large ones are probably smaller than you'd expect and I suspect the smaller ones may have too much dough, but the large seemed to be the perfect ratio. Fantastic service and somehow the best takeout bag I've ever seen. You can tell everyone involved with this place is intentional about getting the details right. Fantastic coffee. I've come here twice in a matter of days and I gotta say the coffee rivals that of the big names around here. Freshly ground and pulled espresso, nothing was a miss. Latte art was a nice touch too. I'm lactose intolerant, so having non-dairy options was appreciated.

We bought the fried potato and mushroom pierogi. Fun variety of sauces to go along with it. The food was handed to us in an insulated to-go bag. Love the care and attention.
