D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Marlborough

This is by far my favorite D'Angelo's location of all time. It is fairly close to my work, so I frequently order sandwiches online and then visit them to pick up around lunch time or in the later afternoon if I'm working late. Sandwiches are always made with care and precision and always taste great. I usually get the Steak #9, the Cheeseburger Sub, or the Thanksgiving Toasted. Diane is the manager there and she always greats me with a smile and asks me how I'm doing. During the holidays, I have also used the catering services at this location. The staff have been fantastic - it's so quick and easy to make the order in advance, then pick up when I need to right before the event. I called ahead to order pickup. I wanted to make sure the subs would just be coming out of the oven when I arrived. The manager Diane was great. I spoke to her on the phone while ordering and in the store while paying. She made sure to wrap my subs in tin foil to help them stay hot as well on my ride home.She was extremely helpful and had great customer service skills. She made my trip to d'angelo s super easy and the food was delicious. Came in a few minutes before the pick order was going to be ready since I knew I had to pay still. Before anyone greeted us we were immediately told in an aggressive manner that it would be a few minutes before anyone could help us. I responded that was no problem I was here for a pick up order and was laughed at and asked if it was one of the big orders by the same employee who had old us it would be a wait. Another employee checked the name on the order and let us know it would be a few more minutes which I had no problem with waiting I knew I was early. I don’t think we will be coming back here.
