I usually order chicken tacos about 3 times weekly which are made with delicious fresh and hot grilled chicken in the soft corn tortilla.Their guacamole is so far the best I have ever try reason why I always order an extra side for my nachos.I like the extra detail of them putting a slice of lemon with each taco and some extra vegetable stuff that make it looks yummy even tho I do not eat it.Today I went inside for first time and the owner spoke to me about a not happy customer experience I had with waitress but we are all humans and made mistakes. He asked me, I answered and he seemed to agree with me with that misunderstanding.I have had order usually on the phone and the little times he had take my order, he was very polite and all orders are acuratte and fast. The older male waiter is a sweetheart and very attentive so do the owner.I love their food quality, freshness, accuracy and timing. If you are on a rush for meal break and want Mexican food you can relay on them. And so far my favorite Mexican restaurant from all the ones in Marlborough.Reasonable prices compare with others in the area.Their homemade sauce for the chips and the green hot(nos that spicy) salsa are the best and perfect for me.Wish you the best. Thanks for listening and being reasonable and honest with me.Your honesty as a boss matters to me as your customer.Wishing...
Read moreSince moving to MA, I've had a hard time finding a decent Mexican spot. I initially skipped over Lalo's due to their average ratings and instead tried some of the more highly reviewed places. Unfortunately, they did not live up to the hype in my opinion. Recently craved some Mexican food, I decided to give Lalo's a try since the common theme of their lower rates were due to service.
Upon arrival, my wife and I weren't formally greeted, but a waiting staff did finally notice us and informed us to sit anywhere we liked. I tried a variety of tacos, and honestly, they were much better than what I had compared to the other highly rated locations. I ordered the Carne Asada, Birria, Chicken, al pastor and fish tacos. The al pastor, chicken and Birria were my favorites. The Fish and shrimp tacos felt a bit underwhelming in a taco form, but would probably better served as a protein with rice and beans. The fish tacos came with rice and beans, which I did enjoy the rice and beans.
I considered ordering a drink towards the end of the meal, but the waiter did not come back to check on us, and overall attention to the table was a bit lacking. It was not the worst service I've experienced, but there is definitely room for improvement.
Overall, I would go back and try more of their menu. So far, this has been the better Mexican option I have found...
Read moreVery bad customer service. My family always order sopa de res and yesterday when we ordered for 3 of them, I spoke to a female who I told her in Spanish and in English that I wanted beef stew/sopa de res. When my partner went inside he told them he was picking up tres sopas de res. We didn’t check because we always order the same thing and it never was a problem. When we arrived home it was chicken stew. I called the restaurant, that same lady that took my order hung up when I asked for a manager for my order under my name (she asked for the pick up name when I ordered) and so I called again and finally I was able to speak to a manager, Anna, who apologized and stated that the employee put chicken stew instead of beef and that I could pick up my refund (cash) the next day. Well I went to go pick up the refund and the same lady that took my order accused me of lying and saying that I was stealing their money and their manager, Anna, stated the gentleman came in and asked for pickup for 3 chicken stews. Mind you we never order anything but beef stew at this restaurant. So I already knew they were lying and trying to cover themselves from getting in trouble for their poor customer service and professionalism. Make sure you check your order before leaving for pickup and get the name of the person who...
