The Fix Burger Bar — Restaurant in Marlborough

I really hate writing bad reviews and I think this is only my 2nd bad review posted.

Arrived Saturday and was promptly seated. Waiter arrived quickly and took our drink and app orders.

The drinks were delicious! We would have happily ordered a few more but......

The potato chips ordered as an app tasted good, but we're cold. I would have thought homemade potato chips would arrive warm. Maybe a bad assumption on my part.

I ordered a Phenomenal burger (medium rare) with onion rings. The food arrived and......no forks to be found. I stole some from another table. The burger arrived cooked well done (no pink whatsoever). The onion rings clearly came from a frozen bag. Companion ordered a burger bowl and picked brown lettuce out of it her entire meal.

Had our waiter even returned once to our table, we would have ordered more cocktails and asked for the food to be re-done. I would have even settled for my water to be refilled but no such luck. After sitting waiting for the waiter to stop by (he passed our table at least a dozen times), I went and found him.

To their credit, they took much of the food off of our bill since we weren't willing to finish it and also offered us a complimentary dessert. We declined as we had experienced enough, but the offer was appreciated.

I recently ordered takeout from The Fix Burger Bar, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite my anticipation for a delicious burger, the reality fell short in several aspects.

Firstly, upon receiving my order, I noticed that the packaging was subpar. The burger was sloppily wrapped, leading to a messy and unappetizing presentation. This lack of attention to detail set a negative tone from the start.

As I eagerly took my first bite, I was met with disappointment. The burger lacked the flavor and juiciness I had hoped for. The patty was overcooked and dry, while the toppings seemed bland and uninspired. It was evident that the quality of ingredients fell short of expectations.

Moreover, the portion size was underwhelming considering the price I paid. For the amount charged, I expected a more substantial and satisfying meal.

Additionally, the overall customer service left much to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, further adding to my disappointment.

In conclusion, my experience with The Fix Burger Bar was far from satisfactory. From lackluster packaging and mediocre taste to poor customer service, it failed to meet even the most basic expectations for a burger joint. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend it to others seeking a fulfilling...

The reason I have Fix Burger Bar a medium rating is based on server experience and food. Reservation was no problem and atmosphere was good. However that’s where it ends. My wife and I were sat at a booth within the bar area and a male bartender gave us waters and took our drink order. But commented that “someone will be with you…eventually.” A female bartender came over with a handled table to take our order and since we had waited a little time we put our full appetizer and entree orders in. Appetizer came out fast and not too long after so did the meals. We instantly noticed they got the meat temperatures we requested swapped on our burgers. But also I was so disappointed in the size I’d the patties. The buns were huge and toppings of our “Crunchy” and “Bigger Mac” took up more space than the meat itself. It doesn’t help that the website has edge to edge meat pictures and I get less than that. I would have said something to our waitress but she never came back.
