Nick's Deli & Pizza — Restaurant in Marlborough

My office orders from here at least once a week for the last 4 years. I ordered a simple ham and cheese sub toasted with lettuce and mayo and their chicken and rice soup with the guy who ALWAYS answers the phone. At the end of my order I asked if they have provolone cheese he says yes, I said I want that cheese. He says ok. Takes my card. They deliver in 25 minutes, very quick, great. Delivery guy is so nice. I go to eat my sub no cheese. I call them to let them know because I am annoyed. The same guy on the phone says He made the sub himself and yes there is cheese on it, he specifically put the provolone cheese on it. I go look at my sub while on the phone pull all ham out, no cheese, I tell him this he said well I know I did it. He said the girl put the lettuce on, he'll have to ask her. I said maybe there was another order and gave me the wrong one. We get off the phone. I go back to my sub an realize it's not toasted. I call them back and tell him that too. He says he put the cheese on it and toasted it so he doesn't know what happened and says nobody else ordered a ham and cheese. So now he's calling me a liar and yet he is the one who is lying and instead of apologizing, instead of offering to correct by bringing another sub or discount next time or something, he knows our office always orders. Very bad customer service. I was honestly disgusted by how he handled it. Straight lying about 2 things, cheese and toasting. They have good food, but this put a bet bad taste...

I see there’s new ownership, so simply wish to say; been here over a decade and Nicks was my go to spot for a long time then everything degraded. Their roast beef is absolutely worth it but if you don’t want that… Please new ownership, “pizza and roast beef” the worst offense was I ordered a small chicken parm calzone, upon arrival it was clearly a large with small portions in it, no joke, the two end pieces were see-through save for a lone piece of flat chicken… all the “chicken” looked like breaded skin. I can go on, lower your prices and serve better food; I’ll come back. Anything off the grill will run through you. Celebrate new management;...

Never thought I'd stop ordering here but after tonight I'm done. The former owners were great. Tonight I ordered for my son and I and the wrong food was delivered. I called to request the food I ordered and was told it would be here momentarily. I live 3 mins from this restaurant and it took almost 40 mins. I called a second time and they wouldn't answer the phone. I'm not upset about the mistake. Things happen. What I'm upset about is that I was told it would be corrected and it took 40 mins to do so.
