My family and I drove over an hour for a buffet. It was pouring rain , but we thought it would make a rainy day a great day. Decent amount of space and quick seating. Koi fountain in the front with a couple fish inside of it. Pretty clean for the most part. We have visited on time in the past for lunch and it was good. We arrived for dinner on Saturday night and they were not busy. We all got out food and sat down. Instantly when I broke a crab open it was rotten on the inside. I tried the baked salmon. The taste of old fish hit my tastes bud and forced me to spit it out. Typical desert and my kids love cheesecake. They were so excited and then we all ate a piece of the sour mush that was not cheesecake. I don't even think it was any type of cake. First thing noticeable is the fact they don't clean most of the seafood. I'd really like to know who the inspector is that certifies this place. Very rubbery squid. All I have to say when it comes to seafood is you're not supposed to have to clean coconut shrimp. My wife and I checked online for pricing before driving the hour and it said 18$ for adults dinner and around $13-$14 for kids. Somehow it came to $25.00 for each adult and the kids were almost $19.00 for each. My Girls are 9-10 years old. My bill was close to $90.00. They obviously lie on the advertisement, but it reads that it's recently been updated. Be prepared to pay a lot more than what is posted. Honestly would waste your money. I didn't argue with them after the horrible food I just ate. I do know my family and friends that were there will not be going back again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We eat...
Read moreI'm rating this a 4, only because they no longer have certain food items on their buffet. I used to love when they had the steamed snow crab legs, and also sometimes the whole stone crabs 🦀. But because of the pandemic and rising costs of seafood, they had to eliminate them from their buffet. Also they got rid of my favorite fresh shucked oysters. But again, they got too expensive, so it is what it is. They do have some really small tempura fried crab, but it's not the same. They have a nice selection of Chinese food items, and I am grateful for the fact that they still have their tempura fried peel and eat prawns, along with their black bean sauced littleneck clams, their calamari in sweet chili sauce salad, their sushi rolls, and of course their yummy salmon filet in a sweet and savory sauce. So as long as I get a few more of those items, it's still very much worth the price. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. They always know who I am, and they always greet me with pleasantries. They take VERY good care of me when I dine there. The inside is in some need of repairs, like the old booth seats that are ripped some, but in this economy, it is still a bit difficult to do that. Would love to see fresh mussels in black bean sauce as an option, and maybe add back the squid rings to the seafood delight dish. But other than that, not too much wrong with the food. The owner Howard, is a very nice man, and I'm glad him and his staff were able to survive the effects of the pandemic, and stay afloat. I would have missed this place if it...
Read moreIf I could give less than one star I would after my experience this weekend. I go there quite often with my husband, as well as my mother and father. This saturday I walked in with my mother and my husband, we were seated, ordered drinks and then started eating. My drink was gone, and no one came to refill it. It was not til my husband ASKED for someone to come over. When we were finished with our meal, we all sat and waited..... no one came over. Someone cleared the plates but never brought the check. After 30 mins of waiting I got up and walked over to the desk where the register is and our check was sitting on the table. I finally saw the waitress and said "this is ours and it has just been sitting here so I'm taking it". We couldnt find her for 30 mins, and NOW she hovered over me as I paid the check. She continued to hover so we couldnt even leave the table. I told the waitress I found this very disrespectful and she PUT HER HANDS ON ME. She put both her hands on my shoulders and said "ok. Ok. Dont worry, " and PUSHED ME towards the door. I said excuse me, dont touch me, and she attempted to touch me again. I went directly to the manager and told him the entire story and he was not phased. Just kept telling me she was new and I "shouldnt worry". The food is mediocre at best. We go there for convenience but I wont...
