On a motorcycle trip heading across the state of Illinois along The Illinois river over to the Mississippi river for a weekend barhop. stopped in here to get something to eat for dinner and to let the rain pass. First thought the place is very clean, cool tavern atmosphere and they have a nice menu, they have a little pool hall, a slot game room, dartboard and pro golf. We ordered the nachos they were good but we would have definitely ordered them without the purple onions because there was no shortage of them on the nachos. After leaving Ziggys my girlfriend and I both agreed that because we weren’t local or regulars it seemed as if we were an inconvenience. Ordered for the second time ever last night 7/13. Was told on the phone food would be done in 45-50 minutes for 2 burgers and fried mushrooms. Didn’t mind the wait as I live close. Get my food as the man asked the woman I spoke with why I was told almost an hour wait as my food had been sitting for Atleast 30 minutes. Bring my food home and nothing was really edible.
