Monday Aug 23 at about 4:30pm, my daughter visiting from Vegas really wanted BODACOIUS.
We were so looking forward to E. TX BBQ. BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
After ordering 2 brisket sandwiches, a bag of chips, 1 drink, 1 bottle water, at $23 and some change.
We received our order very quickly and we were a bit impressed until we realized it was not ONLY cold chopped brisket that was just sitting out, but no pickles, no onions. We weren't aware that you would have to get out of our dinning chairs to go ask for each of these items, oh and we were the only ones dinning, so it wasn't busy at all.
The BOYS all of them started talking about me and my daughter, loud enough for us to hear. The young BOY at the register who took our order semmed new, and I took note that his tip bucket was empty. -Well my plan was to tip him $5 cash when we left. Well the Boys started talking about how we looked at the tip bucket and didn't tip. Next my daughter went up and asked for some pickles in a very sweet voice and manner. The BOYS started rambling AGAIN. -Then she got up again to get my bottled water that we paid for in a self help fridge. -Immediately one of the boys in a LOUD VOICE said "DID SHE JUST TAKE THAT WATER"? -I could hear them laughing and talking even more about us. Side note:we were kind and so excited to be at BODACOIUS, but those BODACOIUS boys in Marshall TX RUINED THAT EXPERIENCE. Lets continue here: -Next we see a #BODACOIUSBoy come from behind the counter and had his phone pointed at us. Was he recording? Taking pictures, maybe face timing?
-So my daughter goes up to the counter and ask "Hey is there a problem here" Of course they say "No,No. But continue with there chatter but now in Spanish. Guess what? BODACOIUS Boys she understands Spanish. -Now we are almost to the end of this horrible experience, and i will be posting this thread everywhere, along with having my friends and family share my review in a small beautiful town called Marshall Tx. -Ok last part.. A young gentleman pulls in and enters the restaurant, (not sure his position and goes into the back of the kitchen) within a couple of minutes he comes back from behind the counter, and tries to mask that he isnt looking at us side Eyed, I told him you can complete look at us. He left the restaurant. Was he a worker? The manager? Or maybe just a drug pickup or drop-off, no matter the case, he was sizing us up. -Finally we decide to peacefully just box up our food and leave, BUT NOW AGAIN WE WERE AT THIER MERCY and needed to ask for to go containers.
-BODACOIUS Boys in MarshallTX, you boys are getting a new hashtag. I will post this daily until i get an APOLOGY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. AND I'm sure they have vdeos in the store, let's...
Read moreWarning‼️ I bought 3 rib sandwiches, and these 3 trash ribs were on a couple of the sandwiches. The workers didn't want to give me another rib sandwich for my inconvenience. Initially, they offered to replace two ribs. The young, skinny Mexican male employee had the nerve to say "dawg you tripping over one rib?" I said first off I'm not your dawg, I'm a paying & unsatisfied customer. Second, I gave you back 3 trash ribs and in return, you only gave me 2 good ribs. The employee said, "Well, you can sit here all you want that's all I can do." I told him ok then, I'll be right here. This is horrible customer service. However, I parked in their drive-through window until customers started to pile up behind me. They eventually folded and replaced the rib sandwich. All of this was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Marshall Bodacious has lost me as a customer, and I grew up eating Bodacious BBQ. Look at the pictures of those ribs. Scorched and not edible...
Read moreWe were passing through Marshall, Texas yesterday and decided to stop and have lunch at this Bodacious Bar-B-Q place. My Wfe had a smoked turkey sandwich 🥪, our Niece had a chopped beef sandwich and they said they were very please with their lunch, that the sandwiches were very good. I had the combination meat plate consisting of ribs and brisket with coleslaw and baked beans. The brisket, coleslaw and baked beans were very good. The ribs weren't as good as the ribs at Bodacious Bar-B-Q in Bossier City, Louisiana. I found them to be a little to greasy and on the fatty side. The prices were very reasonable, great service and the dining room was very clean as well as the restrooms. I would definitely eat there again, but would definitely leave...
