I went through the drive thru for a quick pick-up. We we asked to pull over to the side, they would bring our food fresh. We waited 30 minutes. We got someone else's order. Our order was $25, the food they was trying to serve us was below $20, about $18. They gave us half our order. So I waited an additional 12 minutes for them to bring out my spicy chicken stripe. They gave me old stale chicken and a burnt roll, not fresh, as promised. So I got out of the truck and walked in. I asked for the manager. IVY came to the counter, like she was doing me a favor by gracing me with her Presence. Abusing her authority......she looked at me with a nasty attitude and said, " So you want your food fresh?" I answered her. I was perplexed ...."yes". She repeated herself 3 times. So I answered, "I thought that's how food was supposed to be served, absolutely 💯, 🤔. Is there any other way". Initially we went through the drive thru because of medical mobility issues. I stood there 7 minutes for them to re cook me 2 fresh chicken stripe, and a fresh roll.
My experience was horrible. The manager was desensitized to the customers needs. Serving food, should be a pleasant experience when people eat out and choose a restaurant to dine at. She ....IVY, have no compassion, she don't smile, she is rude, and frankly don't care. My question is why is she over a restaurant who deal with real people.
I patronize this restaurant because I like the sweet tea. The food is served cold and stale sometimes. It's like fully teeth to get fresh food. There is a sense of entitlement from IVY, the manager. She dont deserve a position in management with her poor service skills. I hate i had to experience that. My previous experiences was canceled out because she is terrible. Read moreI did not have a very good experience for the past two times that I have been there, especially tonight May 31, 2021 @ 920PM. Ordered a #2 (7 tenders, side of okra and Mac and cheese with a roll). Seems that they were running behind because the vehicle in front (3) were all waiting for their food for a while. A cashier came out and asked for our payment before we arrived to the window, I assume for faster procedure. We continued to wait in line, after about another 5-7 minutes we arrived at the window, still no food and waited for an additional 7 minutes when then we were asked to pull into a parking spot. The excuse was that the tenders had just came out of the fryer. Meanwhile, I saw during my time at the window that there were about 5 emoyees just standing around not being productive. We complied and parked in the closest parking spot as not to be missed. As we waited three vehicles that were behind us received their meals and left. I would have left, but I had already paid, so we continued to wait patiently. Finally at 10:05PM we received our order, one #2 meal, with no drink. I wish I could say that is it my complaint, but after arriving home, and to my surprise, my order was incorrect. They only gave me 4 tenders that were lukewarm. So after about a 35 minute wait, I get a wrong meal. I called, left a message as they were closed and didn't answer. Read morePulled in to get a 7 peace tender meal to go and asked if I could get the meal without the drink and was told yes so I told the drive-thru person that I wanted the 7 peace tender MEAL without the drink and extra gravy and was charged $15.78 and after about a 35 minute wait to get to the window to pay for it I was given only the tenders and extra gravy with no french fries which I assumed came with the meal so before driving off I parked and called to speak with the manager and asked why I ordered the 7 peace MEAL but was only given the tenders. The manager asked me to read off the receipt to him and once I did he told me that she only charged me for the tenders and must have failed to ring me up for the complete meal and said that if I wanted the two sides that come with the meal he would have to charge me but in my opinion at the high price of 15.78 it should at least come with french fries for that price and on top of all that the chicken tenders breading was extremely hard and the chicken was very dry. It was almost like they took yesterday's chicken tenders and reheated them in the fryer in a sad and pathetic attempt to save money and then pass off the nasty and high priced chicken to the customer.
